Mobile phone content provider Mobile Streams more than halved losses at the interim stage on reduced revenue.Turnover declined to £3.60m in the first half of 2009 from £4.63m a year earlier, after the group restructured in the second half of 2008 to focus on core activities.Loss before income tax narrowed to £0.58m from £1.34m a year earlier, with the company’s depreciation, amortisation and impairment charge coming down to £0.58m from £1.44m in the first half of last year.Trading earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) was a profit of £43,000, up from a profit of £37,000. Trading in the second half has been of a smilar nature to the first half and consequently the company said it expects to break even at the EBITDA over the full year.
