(ShareCast News) - Andrew Fisher has been appointed to Marks & Spencer Group's board of non-executive directors, the retailer said on Tuesday.Fisher, the current chairman of Shazam, the popular smartphone app, will join the board on 1 December, when he will also join the nomination committee."We are delighted to welcome Andrew Fisher to the board of M&S," said group chairman Robert Swannell."He has a proven track record in a fast growing and global digital business and will bring a wealth of relevant technology-focused, consumer experience."Meanwhile, Martha Lane Fox will retire from the board at the end of the company's financial year on 2 April next year, bringing her nine-year spell as director to an end."She has made a real difference on so many key issues across our business way beyond her strong digital background," added Swannell.M&S shares were down 0.73% to 490.10p at 1418 BST on Tuesday.
