Merlin Entertainments Ceases Trading In London After Motion Takeover

(Alliance News) - Merlin Entertainments PLC on Tuesday said its shares were cancelled from trading on the London Stock Exchange.

In September, Merlin Entertainments shareholders approved the deal for Motion Acquisition Ltd to acquire the FTSE 250-listed Legoland operator for 445 pence per share, valuing the company's equity at GBP4.77 billion and giving an enterprise value of GBP5.91 billion.
