LONDON (Alliance News) - Medilink-Global UK Ltd, an electronics provider for the healthcare industry, said Wednesday it is now in collaboration with not-for-profit health IT organisation HIMSS-Asia Pacific, for the development of Health Alliance in China.
Under the deal, Medilink, which provides electronic healthcard network services to insurance and other companies to facilitate the administration of medical claims, said it will collaborate with Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, in the recruitment and development of HIMSS Personal Connected Health Alliance membership in China.
"The strategy for the collaboration between MediLink and HIMSS-Asia Pacific is to greatly enhance China's technological level in the field of health information services, in providing more extensive health services to China's vast customer base," said Ms. Saren, the President of Medilink Beijing TPA Services Co Ltd in a statement.
HIMSS is a cause-based organisation serving the health IT community, by producing health IT thought leadership, education, events, market research and media services around the world.
Shares in Medilink jumped 11.1% higher Wednesday morning, to trade at 2.50 pence per share.
