LiDCO Names Ex-Abbott Laboratories Director Wetrich As Non-Executive

(Alliance News) - LiDCO Group PLC on Thursday said it appointed James Wetrich as a non-executive director, with immediate effect.

The hemodynamic monitoring company said Wetrich has over 35 years of experience in the US healthcare industry, having worked both in the medical device and healthcare provider sectors, including companies such as Abbott Laboratories, Molnlycke Healthcare, Premier Inc, and Providence Health & Services.

"The US represents the greatest opportunity for LiDCO's future growth," said LiDCO Chief Executive Matt Sassone.

"James' breadth of industry knowledge, contacts and experience in the US market brings to the board additional skills to take company forward," added Sassone.

LiDCO shares were trading 1.9% higher on Thursday in London at 3.98 pence each.
