Lamprell, which provides engineering and contracting services to oil and gas companies, said its Chief Financial Officer Frank Nelson is stepping down.The United Arab Emirates based company said Nelson was leaving to return to the UK for "personal reasons".Joanne Curin, an experienced Financial Director who has held senior management and board positions for a number of large multinational companies, will succeed Nelson from October 1st.Curin has worked for the likes of Lend Lease Corporation and P&O, in roles covering strategy, finance, tax, corporate governance and information technology. She is currently Non-Executive Director for WS Atkins and Deep Ocean Group Holdings AS. Lamprell's Chairman John Kennedy, said: "It is with regret that Frank Nelson has informed the company of his intention to leave the group for personal reasons. "Frank originally joined Lamprell on an interim basis last October to allow the board sufficient time to identify a replacement and so I am very pleased to announce that we have been able to appoint Joanne Curin to replace Frank in the role as she brings a wealth of experience and expertise, particularly in light of her many years of working at the most senior level for listed companies." Curin will work closely with Chief Executive Officer, Jim Moffat, to "ensure that Lamprell remains a competitive force in the industry, capable of delivering sustainable growth over the long-term", Kennedy added.Shares were down 3.72% to 136p at 15:45 on Wednesday.RD
