(Alliance News) - APi Group Corp on Wednesday said that it shares have begun trading on the New York Stock Exchange, adding that its shares will now be cancelled from trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
The safety, specialty and industrial services firm said it completed its "domestication into a Delaware corporation" on Tuesday and has therefore requested that its listing on the London Stock Exchange be cancelled on May 3.
"Listing the shares of APi on the NYSE is another important step in the on-going evolution and growth of the Company. The reach of the NYSE to the investment community will help broaden our base of support and elevate the communication of our long-term value creation targets," said Chief Executive Russ Becker.
APi's London Stock Exchange shares were suspended in September 2019 when it announced its plan to buy APi Group Inc.
