EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Good Energy and Joules pick from Moneysupermarket

Wed, 07th Apr 2021 14:30

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Good Energy Group PLC - Chippenham, Wiltshire-based renewable electricity supplier - Hires Nigel Pocklington as chief executive officer, starting May 1. Pocklington replaces Juliet Davenport, who it said in February would step down as CEO and become a non-executive director of Good Energy and chair of its subsidiary Zap-Map. Pocklington was chief commercial officer of price comparison website Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC, prior to which he held senior roles at US-based travel booking firm Expedia Inc. He currently is a non-executive director of digital technology firm Kin & Carta PLC.

----------

Joules Group PLC - Leicestershire-based country lifestyle retailer - Hires Caroline York as chief financial officer. York is finance director at Moneysupermarket and will join Joules no later than September. York replaces Marc Dench, who Joules previously said is stepping down from the board on May 11. Dench will remain as a consultant to allow for a handover to York, and Joules also named Finance Controller Jon Dargie as interim CFO. York served as interim CFO at Moneysupermarket in late 2018 and early 2019.

----------

Braemar Shipping Services PLC - London-based shipbroker - Hires Nigel Payne as new non-executive chair, starting May 1. Payne replaces Ron Series, who was previously announced to be stepping down on April 30. Payne is non-executive chair of law firm Gateley Holdings PLC and a non-executive director of document management and productivity software provider GetBusy PLC. He was CEO of Sportingbet PLC from 2000 to 2006.
