(Sharecast News) - British Airways has cancelled over 15 long-haul routes starting from 2021 as travel demand falls amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Cancelled routes include flights to Pittsburgh, Calgary, Charleston. Seoul, The Seychelles, Kuala Lumpur and Osaka.
Aside from the cancelled routes, BA is also temporarily halting flights to Sydney, Bangkok and San Jose during the summer of 2021.
Customers with scheduled flights for the summer in 2021 that have been affected by the cancellations are still awaiting advice from the company and information on refunds or flight vouchers as compensation.
The company advised customers to check the BA website for the latest flight information.
BA made around 10,000 staff redundant last summer after reporting a first half loss of almost £4bn, predicting that travel would not return to pre-pandemic levels until 2023.
