Senior Independent Director of Tesco's, Patrick Cescau, has become the third director to hit the till with a trolley load of shares this month.Cescau footed a £60,247 bill having purchased 18,340 shares at 328.5p each. It's proved to be something of a trolley-dash in the past few weeks, with Non-Executive Director Ken Hydon stocking up on 30,000 shares on Friday and Non-executive Chairman Richard Broadbent, also dipping into his back pocket earlier in the month. All the purchases follow Tesco's recent sales performance which fell below expectations, prompting the company to advise full-year trading profit growth will be around the low end of the range of analysts' expectations. Tesco's share price has fallen 15% in the past month, but risen 7% in the last week.
