(ShareCast News) - GVC Holdings is considering its options regarding a bid for Bwin.party Digital Entertainment after the company agreed to 888 Holdings' offer last week."There can be no certainty that an offer for bwin.party will be made by the company. However, the GVC board confirms that it is considering the company's options regarding bwin.party and will update shareholders accordingly."Last week, Bwin' accepted a lower offer from 888 worth around £900m.The statement from GVC followed a report in the Telegraph suggesting that it was considering putting in a higher offer without the backing of Canadian gambling giant Amaya.
