Globaltrans Investment Extends Service Contract With Metalloinvest

LONDON (Alliance News) - Globaltrans Investment PLC, the freight rail transportation services group, said Tuesday that it has extended its service contract with iron ore and HBI producer Metalloinvest to the end of 2016.

The company, which has operations in Russia and the Baltic countries, said that as part of the contract, it will continue transporting 100% of Metalloinvest rail volumes to the end of 2016.

It said that the pricing formula remains unchanged with transportation prices subject to quarterly review and agreement between the parties.

Shares in Globaltrans Investment were untraded Tuesday morning, at 13.05 pence per share.
