AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: CloudCall agrees Xplorer Capital takeover offer

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Thursday.

AIM - WINNERS

CloudCall Group PLC, up 70% at 81.00 pence, 12-month range 47.00p-117.00p. The customer management software provider agrees to a GBP40 million acquisition by Xplorer Capital Management LLC. Under the deal, shareholders will receive 81.50p for each share held. The offer price is a 72% premium to the company's closing share price of 47.50p on Wednesday.

Galileo Resources PLC, up 15% at 0.89p, 12-month range 0.75p-2.80p. The natural resource company says investee Glenover Phosphate Proprietary Ltd has agreed to sell some phosphate rock deposits and mining rights for ZAR250 million to Afrimat Ltd.

AIM - LOSERS

Active Energy Group PLC, down 41% at 0.19p, 12-month range 0.18p-1.95p. Shares in biomass-focused renewable energy business hit 12-month low after it nets GBP3.0 million via fundraise. Active Energy issues around 1.76 billion shares at a price of 0.2 pence each, which is a 38% discount to the 0.325p closing price on Wednesday. The funds will be used for engineering, design work, permitting and purchase of equipment for the Ashland biomass fuel facility in Maine.

Driver Group PLC, down 18% at 51.42p, 12-month range 45.80p-71.49p. The engineering services provider says it is delaying the release of its financial 2021 results due to issues related to its principal customer in Oman.
