(Alliance News) -Â Grafton Group PLC on Friday said it is mulling the potential sale of its UK traditional merchant businesses, as part of a strategic review.
The Dublin-based building materials distributor and DIY retailer said it has appointed Rothschild & Co to undertake the review, which is focused solely the Buildbase, Civils & Lintels, PDM Buildbase, The Timber Group, Bathroom Distribution Group and NDI businesses.
No other businesses in the group form part of the strategic review, it stressed.
The review "may or may not" result in the sale of some, or all, of the businesses, Grafton added.
