(Alliance News) - New York-listed Brink's Co has approached G4S PLC about acquiring its Cash Solutions arm, Sky News reported on Friday.
Sky reported that sources said Brink's was in talks with G4S and its advisers about a deal, but cautioned that other prospective bidders had also expressed an interest.

Shares in G4S were up 6.1% at 185.90 pence in London on Friday, at the top of the FTSE 250.
Earlier in August, G4S said it intended to separate its cash management division in the first half of 2020 as part of a previously announced business review. The company at that time said it had received unnsolicited interest from third parties to acquire parts or all of the Cash Solutions operation, which fills ATM machines and transports cash for businesses.
