(Alliance News) - E-banking and payments firm FairFX Group PLC on Thursday said it has changed its name to Equals Group PLC after passing a resolution.
"The decision to change the company's name reflects the evolution of both its operations and product offering, which have diversified in recent years beyond the heritage foreign exchange businesses of international payments and travel money, and further into integrated money management solutions for consumers and businesses, covering banking and payments," the company said.
Equals as a brand will roll out across the firm's products throughout 2019 to create a "unified look and feel" by the end of the year.
Shares in Equals closed up 1.2% at 124.00 pence on Thursday.
