LONDON (Alliance News) - AIB Group PLC on Friday said it has appointed Sandy Pritchard as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
In addition, the bank said Pritchard will replace Catherine Woods as chair of Audit Committee on her retirement later this year.
Pritchard is an accountant, previously working as a senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and she has held a number of non-executive directorship roles, including at financial services provider Permanent TSB PLC and shopping company Findel PLC.
"We are delighted to welcome Sandy to AIB. Her diverse and extensive experience will greatly enhance the boards experience and skills profile," said Chair Richard Pym.
AIB shares were trading 0.6% lower on Friday at EUR3.84 each.
