LONDON (Alliance News) - Edenville Energy PLC on Wednesday said further progress has been made on the Rukwa coal-to-power project in Tanzania, and it has issued shares to cover fees it owes.
Edenville said work on the environment and social impact assessment for Rukwa has started and should be largely completed in the third quarter of 2016.
Site access upgrades are largely done and preparations for bulk sampling work at the project have finished, with bulk sampling work to start in August and first phase test work due to complete in September.
Edenville added site visits with equipment suppliers and engineering, procurement and construction groups are ongoing.
The company also said it has issued 63.3 million shares at 0.03 pence each to cover consulting services it was provided. Edenville shares were trading flat at 0.02p Wednesday morning.
