DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Eco Atlantic shares sold in fraud against chair

Wed, 21st Sep 2022 15:57

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Eco Atlantic Oil & Gas Ltd - oil and gas exploration in Atlantic margin, offshore Guyana, Namibia, and South Africa - Says Non-Executive Chair Moshe Peterburg was a victim of a fraud that resulted in the unauthorised sales by a broker of 1.2 million Eco Atlantic shares, a 0.4% stake. The sales, at unknown prices, occurred between July 21, 2021 and this past August 15 in a series of small transactions in Toronto and London without Peterburg's knowledge, the company says. He continues to hold 10.0 million shares, a 2.9% stake. Authorities have started criminal proceedings against the unnamed stockbroker. The stock is down 1.9% on Wednesday in London.

----------

ITM Power PLC - South Yorkshire-based energy storage and clean fuel firm - Chief Executive Officer Graham Cooley buys 173,360 shares at GBP1.11 to GBP1.18, worth GBP199,998, on Thursday last week and Tuesday this week. Cooley also exercises options for 3.0 million shares and sells 1.9 million of these to cover tax. He now has 2.1 million shares, a 0.3% stake. Last week, ITM Power said Cooley will step down as CEO after 13 years in post but will stay until a successor is found.

----------

Cake Box Holdings PLC - London-based egg-free cream cake seller - Chief Executive Officer Sukh Chamdal buys 150,000 shares at 139.0p, worth GBP208,500, on Tuesday. Now has 10.2 million shares, a 25% stake. Chamdal had bought 225,000 at the start of the month, after Cake Box shares lost 40% in a day on a profit warning by the company.
