TechMARK movers: E2V revises debt facilities

Wed, 30th Sep 2009 16:01
Electrical component maker E2V technologies stormed ahead Wednesday on news it has entered into a waiver and amendment of its existing debt facilities. The waiver relates to the testing of its financial covenants under the facilities agreement, due today, which will no longer take place. A revised facilities amount of £150m will include an additional covenant test due on 30 November. 'Although it is anticipated that the financial covenants, due to be tested on 30 September 2009, would not have been breached, the waiver and amendment agreement provides certainty and has enabled the board to progress key terms with debt providers for the long term capital structure for the group,' said the firm.Retinal imaging firm Optos fell though, despite trading ahead of expectations in the year to 30 September, as the customer renewal rate fell 'slightly' year-on-year. 'We are focused on implementing our strategy, and driving increased customer usage through an effective and motivated sales force,' said boss Roy Davis. 'This strategy, off a lower cost base, is delivering early signs of progress towards increasing profitability.'FTSE TechMARK - RisersE2V Technologies (E2V) 76.75p +11.23%Renovo Group (RNVO) 26.75p +7.00%Anite Group (AIE) 34.75p +6.92%Antisoma (ASM) 35.50p +5.97%NXT (NTX) 11.00p +4.76%Vernalis (VER) 95.00p +3.83%Consort Medical (CSRT) 434.00p +3.33%Kewill (KWL) 106.50p +1.67%Trafficmaster (TFC) 38.00p +1.33%Ark Therapeutics (AKT) 42.50p +1.19%FTSE TechMARK - FallersVislink (VLK) 24.75p -4.81%Optos (OPTS) 83.00p -4.60%Emblaze (BLZ) 42.00p -4.55%Innovation Group (TIG) 11.25p -4.26%Alphameric (ALM) 35.50p -4.05%NCC Group (NCC) 402.50p -3.71%DRS Data (DRS) 13.50p -3.57%KCOM Group (KCOM) 37.00p -3.27%Puricore (PURI) 16.25p -2.99%Gresham Computing (GHT) 30.00p -2.44%
