Dekel Agri-Vision PLC - West Africa-based agriculture company - Produces less crude palm oil and palm kernel oil in the half-year but prices skyrocket. In the first six months of 2022, crude palm oil production falls 36% to 16,893 tonnes compared to 26,515 tonnes a year ago. Average crude palm oil price however increases 24% to EUR1,013 per tonne from EUR817.

Revenue climbs to EUR37.4 million from EUR22.5 million. Besides its palm oil business, Chair Andrew Tillery sees "considerable progress towards commencement of production from our cashew operation, our second commodity to enter production and a key part of our short and medium term strategies to increase both the scale and diversity of Dekel."

Dekel Agri-Vision PLC - West Africa-based agriculture company - Says crude palm oil output in May falls 36% annually to 2,167 tonnes from 3,403 tonnes. Sales jump to 4,025 tonnes from 1,071, however. Price per tonne also improves to EUR1,056 from EUR774 a year earlier. "The recent trend of very strong crude palm oil and palm kernel oil prices and exceptionally strong CPO extraction rates offset by weak fresh fruit bunches volumes continued in May," Dekel says. Dekel also updates on its cashew project in Ivory Coast. Dekel says a colour sorter arrived on Sunday, enabling company to "significantly increase production capacity once installed".

(Sharecast News) - West African agriculture company Dekel Agri-Vision updated the market on production at its Ayenouan palm oil project on Thursday, reporting a 74.4% year-on-year increase in November - the highest monthly like for like uplift in production for the year thus far.
