(Alliance News) - Dev Clever Holdings PLC on Monday said its virtual reality careers guidance experience platforms have been commissioned by Nottinghamshire Police for a pilot programme.
VICTAR, standing for virtual interactive careers training & apprenticeship robot, is an interactive, virtual reality careers guidance experience designed to engage with school children. Launchpad/Launchyourcareer.com is Dev Clever's online careers platform.
The pilot programme will see VICTAR and Launchyourcareer.com combined to support young or first-time offenders with immersive virtual reality. The programme aims to achieve a reduction in re-offending youths by connecting them with relevant employers, higher educators and apprenticeship providers to help them into further education, employment or training.

The pilot recognises the potential of our technology to globally change the way career guidance and recruitment is delivered to young people," said Chief Executive Chris Jeffries.
Dev Clever shares were trading 1.6% higher at 3.15 pence each on Monday afternoon in London.
