Gresham House Strategic PLC - investor in smaller UK public companies - David Potter steps down immediately as chair. Non-Executive Director Helen Sinclair becomes interim chair while a search for a new chair takes place. Potter has been chair for six years and "was the driving force" behind establishing the firm in 2015. Late last week, largest shareholder Gresham House PLC withdrew its requisition notice for a general meeting that it had issued in May, following discussions. Gresham House, a 23% shareholder, had wanted the immediate removal of Potter as chair, rather than at GHS's annual general meeting, then scheduled for September. GHS had agreed to bring the AGM forward to no later than July 26, at which time it was agreed that Potter would have retired. Senior Independent Director Ken Lever is leading a strategy review "with a view to determining the best means of maximising value for all shareholders".

Wynnstay Group PLC - Powys, Wales-based agricultural supplies - Hires Catherine Bradshaw as non-executive director, starting July 1. Bradshaw is financial controller at convenience food firm Greencore Group PLC and prior to Greencore worked at Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC.

eEnergy Group PLC - London-based 'energy efficiency-as-a-service' firm - Hires Crispin Goldsmith to the non-board executive position of chief strategy & commercial officer, responsible for mergers and acquisitions. Goldsmith was director of Strategy & Corporate Development for electronics retail Dixons Carphone PLC, among other roles.

Tungsten Corp PLC - London-based electronic invoices and purchase orders - Says Vivienne Maclachlan has resigned and will leave the board on August 16. Maclachlan was appointed non-executive director early in 2019. Last week, Tungsten announced the hiring of Paul Cooper from NTT Ltd to be its new chief executive officer, replacing Andrew Lemonofides immediately.

Hipgnosis Songs Fund Ltd - Guernsey-registered music intellectual property rights investor - Hires Vania Schlogel as independent non-executive director, starting immediately. Schlogel is founder & managing partner of media and entertainment industry investor Atwater Capital.

Frontier IP Group PLC - London-based commercialisation of intellectual property - Portfolio holding Nandi Proteins hires David Flowers as CEO. Flowers is the former MD for Europe at Singha beer maker Boon Rawd Brewery Co. Nandi is developing functional proteins can be used to replace undesirable ingredients, such as fat, gluten and e-number additives in processed foods, or to replace animal proteins with vegetable proteins.
