UK TRADING UPDATE SUMMARY: Novacyt Virus Test Orders At EUR135 Million

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Novacyt SA - clinical diagnostics - Says sales of Covid-19 tests totalling EUR135 million at June 1, including EUR45 million already received and forward orders worth an additional EUR90 million. Novacyt says it is selling testing kits to more than 130 countries and wins Zimbabwe contract to supply 1.5 million tests.

Concepta PLC - pregnancy testing and fertility tracking - Reports cost savings made as a result of manufacturing of myLotus fertility tracking product being outsourced. Says in early stages of commercial rollout of myLotus, but announces plans for digital campaign in June.

Hemogenyx Pharmaceuticals PLC - blood disease treatment - Extends development deal with an unnamed global pharmaceutical company due to Covid-19. Partnership to develop CDX antibody candidate extended by three months to complete work.

ValiRx PLC - cancer treatment - To work with Oncolytika Ltd and Black Cat Bio Ltd to explore use of VAL201 in a combination treatment for severe SARS-Cov2 sufferers. ValiRx cautions no guarantee collaboration will result in licensing income.

PureTech Health PLC - biotherapeutics - Says founding entity Gelasis receives approval to market Plenity weight loss treatment in Europe.

Braveheart Investment Group PLC - investment company - Says 80% owned Kirkstall Ltd partnering with Animal Free Research UK, researchers awarding grants to scientists who use techniques to replace use of animals in trials. Says Animal Free Research panel awards outlines projects that will use Kirkstall's Quasi Vivo system in Covid-19 research.

Witan Investment Trust PLC - investor - Says performance so far in 2020 hurt by Covid-19 volatility, with total return at negative 17%, underperforming benchmark which gained 5%. Says UK stocks particularly hit, losing 19% in the period to end of May.

Rambler Metals & Mining PLC - copper and gold producer - Enters into short-term financing agreement with Aether Real Assets Co Investment for GBP1.0 million unsecured loan carrying 10% annual interest, maturing October 5.

Volga Gas PLC - oil and has exploration and production - Says average May production came in an 3,372 barrels of oil equivalent per day, up 45% month-on-month. Adds average price hurt by devaluation of Russian ruble and wider oil price drop.

Ascent Resources PLC - natural resources - Says Slovenian environmental agency has announced Ascent's joint-venture partner Geoenergo doo needs impact assessment before working on PG-10 and PG-11A wells.

Clipper Logistics PLC - logistics - Expects to report full-year earnings before interest, taxes and amortisation of roughly GBP24.0 million, a 19% rise. Reports boosted levels of activity from new and existing customers following initial Covid-19 disruption. Expects EBITA in financial 2021 to beat company-compiled consensus of GBP25.8 million.

Hargreaves Services PLC - industrial and property services - To halt all coal mining operations by July 2020, but will incur GBP3.7 million exceptional cost for year ended May 31, 2020 as a result. Says no material disruption from Covid-19 besides in Property business, where work at a residential site near Edinburgh was suspended.

Quartix Holdings PLC - vehicle tracking - Says trading during the four months to April 30 was stronger year-on-year. Does report however that new fleet installations fell 60% year-on-year in April and 25% annually in May, despite slight rebound as lockdowns eased. Says no material impact on subscription base as a result of Covid-19. Adds pandemic is unlikely to have material impact on profit and cash flow for first half of 2020.

Zotefoams PLC - foam products maker - Maintained operations in April and May, despite challenging demand conditions. Expects trading in the second quarter to be in line with board expectations and forecasts stronger second half.

Water Intelligence PLC - water leak detection - Reacquires San Jose, California franchise to sit within American Leak Detection subsidiary. Allows company to have corporate base in Silicon Valley, offering chance to build on "strong" research and development relationships.

Gusbourne PLC - sparkling wine maker - Says 2020 started strongly but distribution channels hit by Covid-19 since March, though online demand has increased. Winery and vineyards continued production through lockdown, but company has furloughed staff, particularly in sales team. Enters into GBP10.5 million facility with lender PNC Financial Services UK Ltd. Gusbourne says new agreement will refinance existing debts.

Blancco Technology Group PLC - data erasure - Enters in master service agreement to provide Aon Group Co with device diagnostics technology.

Gaming Realms PLC - mobile games - Says licensing revenue continued to grow, surging 80% year-on-year between April and May. Adds revenue helped by new licensing partners like 888casino.com, Sky Betting & Gaming and Draft Kings. Expects earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation for 2020 to be significantly ahead of market expectations.

WANdisco PLC - Data and AI - Says it has secured reseller agreement with "large global systems integrator". Reports customer will have access to WANdisco's suite of solutions.
