LONDON (Alliance News) - Internet domain names seller CentralNic Group PLC on Tuesday said it is currently the leading company in its field, sending its shares higher.
The group said it had 2.0 million domains registered using its platform as of 0700 GMT this morning, representing 21% of all domains registered globally using new TLD domain names.
"For CentralNic as a London-based AIM listed company to achieve the number one position globally in new TLDs, and to be the first to cross the two million mark, ahead of multi-billion dollar enterprises on NASDAQ, the NYSE, and the Tokyo Stock Exchange, is another important milestone in executing our plan to reach the scale of those other inspirational corporations," said Chief Executive Ben Crawford.
Shares in CentralNic were up 12% early Tuesday to 60.25 pence, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share.
