Net cash proceeds from the transaction amount to £33.8m at today's exchange rates with no borrowings to be repaid from the sale proceeds.Support services group Cape has been awarded additional contracts with Shell Philippines Exploration valued at US$10m. Cape has secured the Shell Malampaya 2010 Shutdown Isolation Package which comes on the back of the recently awarded "Offshore Hook Up and Commissioning Contract" on the Shell Malampaya Offshore Shallow Water Platform.Miner Noventa continues to expect that initial production at the Marropino mine in Mozambique will commence around March 2010. The first phase will use previously mined tailings, followed by a later phase using the previously mined and rejected oversize material. The previous mistakes in extraction and production as well as the process design have been identified and verified by test and inspection. The new plan, that has been subjected to peer review, avoids these pitfalls, it added.
