AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Renalytix jumps on contract with US government

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Thursday.

AIM - WINNERS

Renalytix Al PLC, up 20% at 1.120 pence, 12-month range 247p-1,172p. The clinical diagnostics company wins 10-year US government contract for KidneyIntelX testing. Under the contract, KidneyIntelX pricing is set at USD950 per reportable result. The test is for diabetic kidney disease, and the contract covers 140 US government departments, including the military.

Byotrol PLC, up 17% at 7.17p, 12-month range 4.54p-10.1p. The infection and prevention control company says it expects annual results for year to March 31, to be "substantially ahead" of the previous year and broadly in-line with market expectations. Revenue is expected to be in excess of GBP11 million and adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation over GBP1.7 million, up from GBP6.1 million and GBP0.3 million in financial 2020, respectively.

Shearwater Group PLC, up 11% at 152.50p, 12-month range 122.4p-346p. The cybersecurity services provider says that, following a robust second half of trading, it expects financial 2021 underlying Ebitda in excess of GBP3.6 million, up from GBP3.4 million the year before and ahead of market expectations. Revenue of GBP31.8 million was delivered in the year that ended March 31, up from GBP33.0 million, reflecting a substantial increase in sales activity converted across the second half and strong margin improvement.

AIM - LOSERS

Lansdowne Oil & Gas PLC, down 11% at 0.81p, 12-month range 0.45p-2.78p. The oil and gas company terminates its farm-out contract with Norway's SpotOn Energy on the Barryroe oil and gas field, as SpotOn was unable to raise the agreed funding. Lansdowne holds a 20% interest in SEL1/11 through its 100% owned subsidiary Lansdowne Celtic Sea Ltd, with EXOLA DAC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Providence Resources PLC, holding the remaining 80%. Providence Resources is down 16% at 3.075p.
