Avast PLC - cybersecurity - Non-Executive Director Ulf Claesson sells 250,000 shares at GBP4.87, worth GBP1.2 million, on Thursday. Claesson had sold the same number of shares on Wednesday, meaning 500,000 shares worth GBP2.5 million this week.

Oncimmune Holdings PLC - early detection of cancer - Non-Executive Director Tim Bunting buys 150,000 shares at average GBP1.19, worth GBP178,800. Non-Executive Chair Meinhard Schmidt and wife Tatiana buy 13,000 shares at same price. Chief Executive Officer Adam Hill, Chief Financial Officer Matthew Hall and General Counsel Ron Kirschner buy a combined 11,405 shares. All on Thursday.

Braveheart H1 losses widen

Scotland-focused investment group Braveheart said pre-tax losses widened as difficult conditions continue. For the six months ended 30 September 2009 the group made a pre-tax loss of £415,000 compared with a loss of £391,000 the year before. Revenue for the period rose to £244,000 from £219,000.
