(ShareCast News) - Mineral development group Bushveld Minerals is set to complete its takeover of Lemur Resources, after its off-market takeover offer closed on Monday.The South Africa-focused group, which has already secured a 94.84% stake in Lemur, aims to acquire the remaining offer shares via compulsory acquisition.Bushveld added it plans to review the operations of the coal exploration company, which include the Imaloto Coal Project in Madagascar as well as the early stage Sakaraha and Ianapera coal projects."The completion of this bid is an important milestone for Bushveld and Lemur shareholders," said Bushveld chief executive Fortune Mojapelo."We will now proceed with the compulsory acquisition of the remaining shares and look forward to the next chapter in the development of the Bushveld story as we forge ahead with the company's stated priorities, not least, our flagship Vanadium project in South Africa."Bushveld shares were flat at 3.78p at 1153 BST on Tuesday.
