(Sharecast News) - In-game advertising firm Bidstack said on Tuesday that levels of demand experience throughout the first half of the year had increased "significantly" despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
Bidstack expects interim results for the six months ended 30 June to include unaudited revenues of roughly £275,000, a marked increase on the £27,000 brought in a year earlier.

As a result of securing new advertising campaigns from the US, the UK and Europe throughout the half, the AIM-listed company said it was "confident" that it was making "material progress" in its approach to building a strong foundation.

Full-year revenues were anticipated to be "very significantly second-half weighted" but in line with market expectations.

Chief executive James Draper said: "The disruption to the advertising industry, as a result of Covid-19, has led to media buyers turning away from traditional means of advertising and focusing increasingly on emerging digital options.

"Bidstack's platform is well-positioned to capitalise on the increase in demand for our native in-game advertising inventory, which captures a large number of video game consumers."

As of 0900 BST, Bidstack shares were up 2.23% at 4.40p.
