(Alliance News) - Vehicle hire and sales company Northgate PLC said on Monday it has appointed Avril Palmer-Baunack as non-executive chair with immediate effect.
Palmer-Baunack has the same role with investment company Safe Harbour Holdings PLC and is the executive chair at car selling company BCA Marketplace PLC.
Northgate Senior Independent Director Bill Spencer said: "Having completed a thorough search to find a high-quality chair for the business, I would like to welcome Avril to the board of Northgate. She brings a wide range of industry experience and a demonstrable track record in delivering shareholder value."
Shares in Northgate ended up 3.1% at 329.50 pence each in London on Monday.
