Augean lifts profit expectations amid solid trading

Wed, 16th Oct 2019 14:57

(Sharecast News) - Specialist waste management company Augean updated the market on its trading on Wednesday, reporting that due to a strong group performance in the third quarter, its profit for the year to 31 December is now expected to be materially ahead of current published consensus market expectations.
The AIM-traded firm said those expectations were for an adjusted profit before tax of £16.5m.

"Results for the year to date have benefitted from a 20% increase in landfill volumes across all waste types, improved landfill pricing by a further 20%, increased radioactive waste profit and a good performance by both the treatment and North Sea businesses," the Augean board said in its brief statement.
