Blencowe Resources (LSE: BRES) has released the first assay from its Stage 7 deep drilling at the Orom-Cross Graphite Project — and the results are exceptional.
The first deep hole at the newly identified Iyan deposit shows continuous high-grade graphite from near surface to ~100m, confirming a major new mineralised zone not yet included in the current JORC Resource.
Key highlights:
• Continuous graphite mineralisation from 4m to ~100m
• High-grade intercepts including 18.85m @ 7.01% TGC
• Deposit remains open at depth, indicating a much larger system
• Potential to materially expand resources in upcoming JORC updates
Assays from remaining deep holes at Iyan and Beehive — plus 186 additional holes — are pending and expected to feed into a resource upgrade in early 2026.
