London South East were delighted to be joined live from Dublin by Poolbeg Pharma (POLB) CEO Jeremy Skillington, who told us they were extremely busy.

"We have a lot of streams running in parallel right now and as we make progress we announce to the market what's going on, and we are excited about that."

Jeremy was one of four CEO's who joined us to present at London South East's November Webinar on Tuesday evening 8.11.2022. These included Suzy Dilly, CEO of early cancer therapeutics company ValiRx (VAL), William M Sheriff, Executive Chairman at enCore Uranium (TSX:EU) and Werner Klingenberg, CEO at Goldplat (GDP).

Poolbeg announced an RSV AI study on the morning of the event and Jeremy explained a little bit more about what happens next. It has taken AI partner One Three just eight and and a half months to identify drug targets which are effective in combatting RSV.

"By the end of the year we hope to get hold of some of these drugs which can block those targets and and start to demonstrate in RSV models that they work and then move them rapidly forward into clinical testing."

And in terms of POLB001? "We have worked really really hard to push this forward this year, these are blind tests so we don't know much more than you, and we are really excited to see the data come out at the end of the year."
