Hi - New to LSE and stock markets!
Hoping to be more involved in these chats as I find my way around, although wanted to ask other members what technical indicators do you live by? Doing some research/self learning on indicators and curious to know which would be top of the hit list. If you have a minute do leave a response, if not thank you for reading anyway.

I don’t use them myself. I tend to read articles to get a full understanding. I leave the interpretation to the experts. If you are interested in technicals, this site might be useful.

Learn how to read a p/l account and a balance sheet. Concentrate on cash generation and debt. Technical analysis gives a visual guide to the past and IMO gives some guidence on when to sell rather than when to buy.
Most investors, whether they understand it or not like to see a visual confirmation of their decison.
The “bible” is by John Murphy, Technical Analysis of The Financial Markets. A heavy read which has to be taken with a pinch of salt as most examples seem to demonstrate that TA somehow is the dogs danglies.

How have you been getting on over the last few days? I must admit, I was a bit lucky on Thursday/Friday - I sold what I had in Ocado and didn't buy back my MCRO shares - I just watched everything yesterday and whilst Ocado only fell marginally in comparison to some, I was doing a calculation for my friend yesterday when I was saying how much Easyjet had fallen in one day, and said it has taken since 15/1 for Ocado to lose 25%.
