Raising Money for Prost8 - Support Prostate Cancer Treatment

Hi LSE readers! I don't often post directly on the website and usually keep a low profile, focussing on website improvements and making sure the chat boards are behaving themselves! 

I founded London South East back in 1998 - initially as a bit of an experiment, and watched it grow over subsequent years to have well over 1 Million regular monthly users. I'm immensly proud of what the team have achieved with lse.co.uk, and I'm excited about the new developments that are coming later this year.

Many people are having a difficult time with their investments right now (including me) - but sometimes there are more important issues...

The website would be nothing without you - our users. And today, I'm asking for your help.

I have the pleasure of working with a small, but highly relevant and important charity called Prost8 - which is raising awareness and funding minimally invasive prostate cancer treatment for thousands of men across the UK. You can read more about them at www.prost8.org.uk

I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathan on the 2nd April to raising money, and if you enjoy our website, or feel like you could give something towards this important cause, please donate - even if it's just something small. The money will be used to fund 6 treatment suites for prostate cancer across the UK.

Prostate Cancer mainly affects men over the age of 50, and the risk increases with age - but it's easily diagnosed, and can be frequently treated with little after affects if caught early. You can find out more on the Prost8 website if you are interested.
