What about Illumina?
AMBRY!!!! Come on it's peanuts even at 1p.
Lets hope this it's part of the play from AL??
BGF average is 2p+ I think I read???
Who's the strategic partner they mentioned I wonder?
I recon Ambrey Genetics will come in next to up the bid.
"Anyone thinks this offer is too cheap?"
What do you think, its not too cheap, its criminal and reminiscent of a ram raid imo. Less than 1 years annual revenue FFS
That's only 12 months ago
any wonder NCYT willing to buy at 0.52
Anyone thinks this offer is too cheap?
counter offer on the way?
Jam: why announce on the Monday?. Is there anyone else interested if so who??
Kick in the spuds given the growth in Revs and Ranger yet to show its potential
UBG on the move upwards next
Don't think anything transfers does it.. You will get your 0.0052p per share. Unless other bids come in.
We will not have their shares. Its a cash offer.
Guys,
What's about our shares here? They will cancel and transfer to Novacyt (good), but how many (new) shares we will have there? I need a little help please, thank you to all
Bakky 07:36h
My post from January 25th with the BoD's averages:
Going through all their trades pre- and post-Placing, these are the BoD's holdings, averages and total investment to date:
Bill Chang - 302,920,142 shares @ average 2.22p - c. £6,725,000 invested*
Lyn Rees - 85,371,235 @ average 0.521p - c. £445,000 invested
Adam Reynolds - 39,807,106 @ average 1.33p - c. £529,435 invested**
Stephen Little - 33,393,402 @ average 1.08p - c. £360,650 invested**
John Brown - 33,685,783 @ average 0.448p - c. £151,000 invested
Barry Hextall - 6,500,00 @ average 1.76p - c.114,500 invested
Hayden Jeffreys - 3,827,482 @ average 2.13p - c. £81,350 invested
So, yes, Bakky, 0.52 is LR's average - funny that!!!!!!!
What a great deal for Novacyt at the expense of longer term ygen shareholders.
Reading through the announcement ygen have £1.88 cash balance so it looks like the cash burn has reduced quite a bit (based on my memory and not checking back)?
Let’s hope for some sort of bidding war arising from this initial offer but I don’t hold out much hope of that.
Everyone barring the longterms have done well out of this.
Pity it doesn't make up for your heavy losses in MHC..
It’s fantastic for anyone who topped up or news.
The sad thing is I’m just 20% up on investment as a whole but I’ll take.
Never expected it on a Monday
Nova can see that the company is perilously close to going bust and have seized the opportunity to make this bid -agree it seems very low ,and maybe a counterbid will surface. Lets wait and see. But half a loaf is better than none .
I see lynn rees will keep his job- I am sure that had no influence on his recommendation.
What a failure of management
Now we know why the radio silence eh chaps.. wasn't good for their agenda was it? criminal imo, and legal route must be taken.
Knew this company was gonna be sold, but please not @ this price!! On L2 the MMs have increased their EMS holding from an average of 30,000 shares to 150,000. A lot of share trading anticipated
Correction... over 35% now.. there is your answer
NYCT clearly is trying to get yourgene at a very low price hence this sharp rise in their stock price. Their shareholders will be super happy considering how cheap they can buy a company with patents and has a global footprint!!
Shame on LR and the directors for destroying SP!!
NCYT currently nearly 30% up..
The real value of YGEN will be revealed over the coming days as the market digests the news. The prime indicator will be the increase in the value of NCYT. If the deal was fair value, the SP wouldn’t change materially, as they’re just replacing cash with other assets. If the sp rises materially, then that’s an indicator that the market is ascribing a higher value to the acquisition than is being paid - it essentially removes the risk discount we’ve been hammered with, as funding no longer a problem for the joint entity.
Even 36% leaves then short by about 12%+
BGF have already agreed.. will the others follow? Apparently directors and BGF can pull out if a better offer comes in. Let's hope so.
