There's a duty to promote . Not ramp.
There's a difference.
We are doing neither!
Jadam,
I agree with what you say. I've seen many companies shoot to the moon on the words "Material effect" "Transformational" without giving any numbers. It's speculation driven pumps.
Ygen has got in this cycle of disappointing on the mention of good news and it's almost habitual for that to happen now. The thing is, this can change with the right news, something with the carrot clearly visible. I don't think we have had that yet and that's what it will take. I do think it will come though.
What I would say with regards to LR no being a marketing genius is this. Had he took that route over the last 12 months and started singing from the roof tops the results to date would have only left us hitting the bottom even harder than we have. I don't think there is any benefit it over playing your hand until your holding a pair of aces.
I think that will happen and I think LR will let us all know when that day comes.
I'm ho;ding tight with the same faith I had this time last year. If I see something change that concerns me, I'll change my stance but right now it's been down to delays, the pandemic, lockdowns and this is all obstacles we can overcome imo.
Absolutely JAdam and of course!
It's this issue and the package - delays to expectations, no numbers on anything, poor PR, weak covid quarterly testing updates.....well it is the usual list so I will stop there. Most of the repeating isn't from me it's from the company consistently repeating these failings allowing me to consistently point them out. The market isn't giving credit and sentiment is poor because time moves on and we continue to have unrealized promise, weak reporting and miss delivery metrics. Aimho
I'm not to sure of the importance of our covid-19 test to our bottom line. There is obviously a monetary value plus of course the kudos of the excellence of the test itself. Can't help feeling that the margins will have been eroded as the price comes down. As for LR giving any financial numbers - I think that will be deemed commercially sensitive.
While the covid19 test is a testament to the agility of YGEN to react positively to current events I think that our larger future growth lies in the pre covid19 side of the business. Lets hope that this will now be able to progress at speed. Go on - 55p by Christmas!!
I'm sure I've seen you post all this a 100 times twix? I'm not sure if you think nobody has seen your posts or if you are really just a bot stuck in a loop.
I understand I said 50p by xmas. I said that as my target if the amount of testing that was touted was carried out. I was wrong. Big deal? I got a price prediction wrong, it happens. I have got plenty right over the years.
I just cashed £350k profits out yesterday from my crypto investment and I still have my initial stake running in profit too. In total I'm up £500k on that but you won't want to mention that will you? We could chat about that?
You can keep on repeating yourself and gain nothing from it (you really won't) or you can sit back and let things work out. If they don't work out then simply sell up and move on. At some point that's what I will do, but as of now, I can still see this blowing up because there is so much potential here.
Yes numbers are a sticking point but they won't be when they look sexy. It's the name of the game. Whether you like that or not it's the way it is. LR will give you all the numbers in the world when they look sexy. He will want everyone to know how he turned this company around and he'll be all braggadocios about it. I guarantee it!
It's quite clear as of now that we are simply not there yet and until we are it's heads down, mouth shut and crack on to make it happen.
At these prices this is a strong buy, it might be a medium term hold now rather than long but with the added spice that one of the big contracts could land any day and be transformational. T
hat's the reality of where we are. No need to harp on about it though.
Typo.......should be.....out of our way.
That's how it seems to many with the obvious exception of comedy legend. As if!!
Simple question
Why do we never promote in our rns as other companies do? We go out four-day not to comment with anything material, promoting or numerative whenever there's an opportunity to describe the opportunity.
Yup 50p by Xmas 2020 lmao
Not a chance it will be that this xmas either.
Face it. Your as off as you claim I am. At k east I am positive when warranted as with my Boots post and when news of US contract - not from any tipster - on the other hand our share price has been dismal but nothing except positive chat from our comedy legend! Objective? I think clearly NOT!!!
It's more value added to the pot. A pot that's already simmering nicely.
We are getting there. I don't see anything that requires a life jacket or euthanasia
Looks like mhc will soon report on their contract with Boots. Maybe get some basic numbers from that.
Could reaLily do with some substantial news, like a certain US contract, of our own!
and then to supply news with numbers.
The wait continues..........
It will be substantial for mhc as they only had revs of £28k last year. So £100k will look good. Obviously fairly small beans for ygen, but it all helps.
Substantial revenue even!
Yup and could retrace if selling pressure!
Nice to see MHC make an effort to quantify the opportunity as significant impact and substantial value. We of course say NOTHING.
whaaaaaaaaaaAaat?
Is.this.it?!
Id be very surprised if it does even 1% today
A few % will do for starters.
Show me the money.....in 15 mins from now will the sp spike up or just fizzle a few %?
I would like to see some 20% kinda good news please.
Put your gas masks on, it's good news!
Excellent news, keep it coming!
Yourgene (AIM: YGEN), the international molecular diagnostics group, announces that its partner MyHealthChecked plc (AIM:MHC) ("MyHealthChecked") has signed a second COVID-19 testing services agreement, to support the supply of the MyHealthChecked™ COVID-19 at-home nasal swab kit, PCR laboratory testing service and logistics for day two and day eight ("D2/D8") coronavirus testing for international arrivals, to Boots UK Limited ("Boots"), the health and beauty retailer and pharmacy group.
Through the service agreement, a proportion of the MyHealthChecked™ COVID-19 tests will be processed by Yourgene Genomic Services ("YGS") at the Company's Citylabs 1.0 laboratory in Manchester which are well equipped to deal with the anticipated increased demand for D2/D8 testing. In addition, samples processed at MyHealthChecked's own laboratories will use Yourgene's Clarigene® SARS CoV-2 PCR CE-IVD test kit. MyHealthChecked is currently the only at-home testing kit provider within Boots for General Testing and Fit-to-Fly services, as launched on 7 April 2021, and is now accompanied by D2/D8 tests that will be available to purchase online, via www.boots.com across the UK, from 17 May 2021.
Lyn Rees, CEO of Yourgene Health and Non-Executive Director of MyHealthChecked, commented: "This further contract with Boots is another significant milestone for MyHealthChecked and Yourgene is pleased to continue supporting their COVID-19 testing service and product supply to their laboratory. With the introduction of the new traffic light system in the UK for global travel, we will see an increased demand for D2/D8 testing, as travel resumes, and this further contract for MyHealthChecked is a testament to the quality of the service provided."
