I think they will outsource if numbers get unmanageable. Ncyt have ten or more manufacturers they outsource to, Ygen being one of them, in a past life of course! Capacity didn't seem to be a problem when questioned. I can't see LR going to the govt, NHS saying we can help you out with a couple of thousand a month.
even at 10k a month right now it;s clearly not priced in.
Sounds like we will be in on the action with the moonshot so all bets are off till then imo.
The shackles will defo be coming off soon imo
I seem to recall mention that we are doing around 10k tests a month; if correct not likely to break the bank just yet.
The lack of any definitive figures presently will explain why Mr market is a bit shy to re-rate the SP for now. Hopefully meat on the bone around the next bend.
Lol, don't get ahead of yourself. 500,000 is the capacity increase is till the end of the year and not per month. That equates to probably around 150-160k a month.
Jadam,
I hope you don't mind being filthy rich in due course then! :)
Brilliant and informative. We can't fail imo. This confirms that we are growing the testing and pushing it a lot further than Lyn Rees maybe suggested initially. The amount we do is not on a level of NCYT bu the private market is far more lucrative and so we don't need to be doing the huge numbers in the millions. If we can get to 250k a month growing to 500k I think we will all be happy.
a link for anyone interested, really is worth the time. If the technicals bore you go to the Q&A part https://vimeo.com/470562698/cecbd3f00a
Bakky I hadnt realised it was still visible will take a look. Thanks
bakky, I agree but the question I keep asking myself is why? Are we all just viewing this through rose tinted glasses ? I dont honestly know why this SP hasn't moved over the last 6 months given all the positive news flow. I dont believe its due to selling, the volumes and monetary values are small and I'm not convinced it is a result of bad publicity. Its difficult to beat the market and they will know exactly who and what YGEN do, the real question is why they dont rate it.
3skins, I take it you won't bother to tune into it then?
Ygen must now be the only Covid related stock not to have risen into the stratosphere. A lot of them still don't have anything to sell yet. Hopefully we can experience something similar too in the next few weeks. I just wonder if the update is being held up for some decent news to break. Moonshot anyone!! Ygen must be one of the few companies out there with a 'turnkey' offering, start to finish no probs, one stop shopping.
what was the bottom line in yesterdays webinar, are we the last turkey in the shop window at Xmas or going to rise like a phoenix from the covid ashes?
"However if like me you have a propensity for buying Yourgene shares, I suggest you do not watch."
I've developed a total immunity to this terrible affliction ... I've now run out of money ... LOL
yes, it's a must listen as JAdam says, especially the Q&A. Saliva tests indeed! Good to know we have plenty of capacity for 'moonshot' too. All looking very good, and expecting Govt news pretty soon as well it seems. Also noted that most of these 'rapid tests' are not as accurate as they say, now there's a surprise!!!! PCR testing is here for quite a while yet, well until Ygen bring out their new saliva test named 'SALIGENE'.
Definitely! Saliva tests are being worked on and the PCR tests are likely to be part of the moonshot programme. How the sp is this low is beyond me. Only a matter of time. But knowing YGEN the price will drop on news. Ah well more topping up it would be then, lol.
YGEN have just posted a link to yesterday's webinar.
