Ever since I saw this stock being pumped by a certain YouTube pumpster, I couldn’t resist but opening a short. Come on WEY keep dropping you pumped piece of crap stock. COMPLETELY OVERVALUED and if anyone here had sense they would open a short too and make a killing whilst they can.. £££££
to be frank they should run a course in PR and sign themselves up to it …. no indication of a strategic review, narrative results out last week which contained no reference and then complete 180 degree turn this week... Not at all Happy and the SP is tanking sadly …..amateurish examples from a BOD...
Not the best updated this morning... below market expectations... but going forwards look to be doing the right thing...will see where it settles.
Based on these forward projections for current trading year it would be trading on a EV/EBITDA ratio of 3 which does seem extremely low for a growing sector.Key to see if the company is trading in line with these forecasts.Any help from long term investors here appreciated.

Ive seen a video from Justin Waite this weekend on twitter highlight the investment case here: https://youtu.be/JFLVV-9WfEE
Does anyone know the forward forecasts?I think here: https://bit.ly/2Fb1yV2 it mentions a projected £8m turnover and resulting projected £2m EBITDA for this current year ended August 19 and projected cash balance of £5.5m.Has anyone on this BB got a link to this broker forecast breakdown?Chance of a dividend perhaps?Based on these forward forecasts this does look cheap/good value however they obviously have to meet them.
This is one of my tips for 2019... amongst a few others. See here:

Yes I agree..I topped up a couple of times last week but not this week...I called the bottom really I suppose and with this off the radar the next update (due at the end of this month I think) will hopefully nudge the SP upward toward proper value imho.. :)
well it was an uncrossing trade so I guess a buy and a sell actually
ok !

this is me, and it was a BUY !
(and the 30000 sell today is certainly not me !)
jerembg.. you're right my mistake I got my figures wrong but still a good investment as you say :)
Hey deepjoy, how do you reach £3m ?
I have market cap of £10m and cash at £4m on 31/08/18, ??
nonetheless, I think it's very cheap and trying to buy more now it's at 8p
fully loaded here now and its taken weeks bearing in mind the spread.....this is my top share choice for 2019 given the fact the company after cash is discounted is valued at circa £3 m which is very cheap for a revenue generating company...
?? was a thumbs up imoji...
Approval granted for future dividends ??

my best guess is the SP decline (apart from this week's news) was down to the decision to delay entry into China 's market which most had been expecting to be the rapid growth area...I am amazed that the SP is at these levels given a 74% increase in revenues and £4m in the bank.as of 31/8/18 ...I bought in on this weeks dip and although there is a risk of the ex-Ex Chairman selling out his 14% ownership I doubt he will given that he retired through ill health.. this is a recovery play for me but they need to update the market on revenues now as they were anticipated as being weighted to second half of the year..
I have read all Wey Education RNS,s since IPO date when it was 4p. It seems that it’s amazing company from 4p to 30p in one year. Due to increased revenue over time and consistent improvement. What i don’t understand is why share price went down after feb 2018 till date despite the good result, improved revenue, and health cash position?? Is it due that the share price went up too much “exaggerated” or the price of the share should be around this level at first place ?? Plaese any one can give feedback?
I am a small holder here, but see the Interhigh school as an alternative to private education, and see it as a growth area.
I am curious, do any of you use Interhigh for your education or your children's education?

....and if directors don't sell shares in the company!!! Buy them instead it does wonders for the confidence.
Fantastic potential if they get this pitched and priced right.
Thanks Breq,
Interogated someone I know who went to the Investor Evening and they reported:
£ 8.4m revenue forecast for next year may be a bit conservative. Hardly any China or Nigeria revenue included.
Nigeria courses paid in advance so no bad debts. First sales early 2019.
China trial in one Tier 3 city - has a population of over 6 million - so gives an idea of the total size of the Chinese market.
China background - China mandates English as a subject and has done for over 20 years. The original idea was Chinese could all leave school reading, writing and speaking English for business and tourism purposes. Reality is reading and writing is pretty good but speaking not so good as Chinese teachers not so good on pronunciation themselves.
Solution - Wey uses English qualified teachers to teach online in China. That's why DM sees '50 times share price' as possible as there are 100 million Chinese school pupils. If the government sees Wey's trial working then many many students they may ask Wey to teach.
Lots of UK teachers available as so many leave the profession - have children, don't like school environment, etc - but like teaching.
Finally lots of InterHigh students already enrolled for this coming year so they have some visibility in the broker forecast.
