… quite probably! Cold, wet and damp I'd guess.
it’s remained stable but be wary there’s probably a bit of stale and bored money to clear as things progress. The conversions have been a drawn out process. Should soon start to clear on contract news and some brand names :-) hold for gold imo december should look a lot different to now
Yeah hopefully good news coming, still quite pleased with the way the price has remained quite stable with no news,so any good news should see us move in the right direction
So who's looking forward to this week, egm, name change, contracts, should be a good week ahead imv
Gla
Smokingjoe- with you on the potential here for sure! Look forward to the story developing.
6zeros- Agreed! They’re defo coming for them with Iconic Labs by aiming to build something bigger & better. They also won’t be bottle necked with the word “Lad”, which presents some issues or headaches from what I can read from some of the links I posted earlier. With their new business model & “grown up” name change they can represent themselves as a more mature social media publishing business. Their first contract with a yet unknown financial firm, I think, clearly shows this. With UniLad they also limited themselves to Facebook for whatever reason while LadBible grew outside that box and eventually ate them up. I think they’ve learning from past mistakes as shown in their presentation with their “aggressive growth strategy”. Can’t wait!
Then in that exact section starting on page 12 of the presentation PDF.. look at the logos surrounding the content licensing and content studio sections.. dots to be joined ;-) .. will get a lot more interest when brand names begin to drop.
And then look to the brands that they could similarly produce content for given their industry contacts. Scroll down the case studies videos.
Google, Natwest, Pringles, Channel 4.. etc

Wild card.. on the section you pointed out. Content licensing. Remember what I said about “look out Ladbible the boys are coming for ya”. This is a big part of their model now. Expect Iconic Labs to do it bigger, better..
Here’s the Ladbible offering.. https://www.thecontentbible.com/
Pay once, licence it multiple times over. High margin business.
I know it’s a different entity, different sector, not on AIM .. but what we have gone through is pretty much like an RTO without the RTO.. but go back to June / July 2016 and look at when EVRH switched from Armstrong Ventures. See the news flow right after.. you could pick them up at that point for 0.8p.
It 4 bagged in 3 months. 10 bagged in 12. I know I know .. it’s not the same.. I hear you.. but right time, right people and a bit of potential.. the market cap won’t stay 4m for long. imo only. Even 12-16m is entirely possible given types of contracts coming.
Exciting times ahead IMO! Their “path to success” notes on page 12 of their corporate presentation is a good guide to show a time period of their business development plans. It’s the reason why it’s included after all, no? I’m aiming for a long term investment strategy here, but how the story unfolds will inform me in the end. Not my fear. Good luck all & DYOR.

In my view, there can be nothing but positive news coming from iconic for sometime, I've got alot invested here at a 33 average and I honestly cannot see a downside, the only way is up. And that's starting nest week. Gla
Here’s where we’re going and more.. 2017 accounts before Unilad added to the pot. £15m rev. £3m profit. What’s the market cap on the potential of that in a sector like this? ... Gold..

Sorry 4m m/c.. I got myself all excited haha
Regards how they will grow this.. prudently at first. Remember they aim to be cash flow positive as quick as possible (see Proactive videos) . The £1m contract helps this case, one more and they’re probably golden. Plus.. from presentation..
– Long term funding commitment from Alpha Blue Ocean, which has financed the resolution of creditors and is committed for up to £11,359,231 of further funds.
– No immediate need for equity fundraise – board committed to first proving out the new business.

And from recent RNS.
“The Company has an aggressive growth strategy, including making targeted acquisitions and will, going forward, look to support its activities through more traditional forms of debt and equity issuance and will seek to avoid structures with variable conversion where possible.”
So.. let’s get this messy changeover behind us.. move forward as Iconic Labs with new name, new team... and see where we are in 12 months. 3m market cap? Don’t think so...
that’s exactly it Wild Card. Can’t believe some haven’t researched before commenting!
Sefton was draughted in to help steady Unilad in its latter days. Sefton and RocketSports then made a bid when it was going under. Alpha Blue made a bid. Then Ladbible ended up taking the prize.
Funny that all those players are now in cahoots here at Iconic Labs, with Quinlan and co. Big ideas, better structure of legal / finance experience behind them, better team assembled (think Blockchain), an LSE listed vehicle for credibility .. Look out Ladbible.. with your £15m+ revenue, the boys are coming for ya!..

My opinion and non-evidence based view is that they took over WDC through connections with EHGOS et al.
I also think there could be a healthcare slant to the new business model (Iconic Labs) which would help them bring in large pharma such as Pfizer, GSK etc.
@Retour- You and me both and I’m sure a whole lot of other investors, but the way I look at this messy Unilad bid war story, Quinlan & Team are now out to prove themselves again by building something new and more profitable hence their “aggressive strategy” talks in presentations and RNSs we’ve had in the past. Sefton and co obviously aren’t chuffed with how the bidding war went & clearly understand the kind of money to be made here & now they’re all teamed up. Not long now anyway to see how the story is told next week! Good luck.
Good reply Wild Card.
I'll look into this.
I just hope that they see sense and do something early next week to ensure the price is higher here and they don't walk into a GM with a load of investors who are under water.
the trades aren't right today as there is a big buy not showing , and I know because it was mine
Who knows for sure, but maybe something to do with a bidding war for UniLad? Sefton via Linton Capital & Rocket Sports Media along with, then rivals, Alpha Blue Ocean, all lost out on their bids for UniLad to LadBible (unfairly apparently). Now all happily partnered with Quinlan and Team for Iconiclabs. Regards to the article in the link, perhaps this is when they got their heads together to start up something new.

It's a simple question; Why would John Quinlan and team, with so much potential, not set up a clean shell company and eventually IPO but instead get into bed with a legacy company in a totally unrelated field with a tonne of legacy baggage inheriting a 1.4bn share circulation, amongst other things?
Why is John Quinlan, during interviews, keeps talking about 'acquisitions' when they are barely incorporated ? Where are they going to get the money for acquisitions ? Rapid growth costs money and I know just they guys that can help us.
the cost and length of time it would take to be listed on the main market is one reason !
Thanks,I believe this will come good aswell(or we wouldn’t be here) but I don’t know much about Sefton,is he as bad as a lot of people have made out on here?
… you ask, what's not to like :-
Dilution and a hammered 'SP'. Why not start Iconic Labs from 'afresh' rather than a battered ( stem ) cell of a business ( considering the debt obligation here ) .
