I like VELA a lot. To me its more like a fund with all the due diligence done by James Normands' and his team who are far more informed than I could ever be. With a flow of 'new investments that are in the advance stage of due diligence, documentation and/or completion' The Board anticipates a lively second half of the financial year' . This is without any results. All looking very positive IMO .
not able to get a quote to buy 2M :S
Thanks for this concise information. Much appreciated.
Thanks for the post MriGoat.
I often forget where we are so that has helped :-)
@Reprobus your welcome, theses are my notes taken from the board and many others post..So all credit really go to others..
Thank you MriGoat! They're working on lots of very positive projects i see :) This might just move into my LTH portfolio
LSE Boards don't do mornings apparently!
Mode Investment £250,000. Digital banking app cash or Bitcoin
Clinical Phase 2 Trial in Covid Diabetics £2,350,000
When you look at the fact VELA has 20% of its MCap invested in the Covid diabetes trial alone, not to mention the other high profile investments such as MODE, the Mcap already looks low. Not to mention if any of these investments take off, the upside potential is huge.

It also has a clean safety profile having been already in twenty-five trials for another indication in almost a thousand patients
Remember it's NOT a covid cure it's an inflammatory treatment to lessen reactions that result in oxygen and ventilators being needed in patients. It will have applications outside of Covid recovery that makes it more valuable in my eyes as it could potentially be applied to all kinds of inflammation issues in the future once this stupid virus has done one.

From the 20th October:
The Board of Vela is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement (the "Agreement") with St George Street Capital Limited ("SGS" or "St George Street"), whereby Vela has acquired an economic interest in the potential commercialisation of SGS's asset to treat individuals with diabetes who are suffering with COVID-19.

Chairman’s final statement:
The Board is currently considering
0.1211p to buy at the moment. My last top up showing as a sell of course
Good start to the day
I've heard a lot of hype about Vela and have been watching the SP drop for the past two days, so seen it as a good opportunity to hop in with some punt money.
Is anybody able to brief me on general info please? I'll do some thorough research on the weekend before figuring out how much more to invest.

TheTruth - Truth be told this share is now a different kettle of fish and all previous patterns / traces are irrelevant. Im not saying it wont retrace as everything is possible but this is looking very bullish and you'd be a brave man to sell up now. I wouldn't want to be locked out of this share with so much happening! GLA
Here? 0.11 or 0.12 maybe but this share loves retracing so hard to get an angle on it
