Ok thanks twink. I’m afraid I’m so deflated by being a share holder in this company I’ve lost any sight of why I first got excited by it. It’s purely a case of racing some funds now. I’ve no interest or belief in the company doing well at all. At the first opportunity to run and cut my losses I’ll take it.
As I’ve said recently, this is the worst run company I’ve ever been a share holder in. The CEO shows utter contempt for share holders by never ever communicating with them other than via RNSs which are either bad or asking us to support more dilution, as in the recent case when he asked to be granted permission to issue 100% - yes, an astonishing 100% - of the existing number of shares. You just couldn’t imagine anything quite so bad or brazen from a man who has so far delivered the square root of f..all for share holders, other than 97% drop in share price and repeated dilution.
Metrotile eqube solar tiles are Verditek.
But is that orders using VDTK panels? Last I heard they were waiting for yet another Certification on the latest panel and that as usual, as with everything in the UK, it was taking ages and experiencing delays...
If this comes back from the dead I will be amazed. Delighted...but amazed. Utterly rubbish management so I actually hope it gets bought out for a half decent amount or else I could see Rob Richards easily running it into bankruptcy.
When I say good news, I mean some news from the company. Reading the latest news from Metrotile orders seem to be going well. First instillation in Ireland for instance. I wonder who the major building firm is?
If we get a tiny bit of good news this share will go ballistic.
BLUE
Roger, the big boys are still in and we know the 4M sell had no TR1 so maybe....just maybe? If the company has a future someone who buys at this price will pick up a bargain. The drop on so few trades would suggest that there are a few sell orders waiting to be filled. At least the boards minds will be focused on trying to find a solution. It will be a shame if this ends badly, they do have 2 really good products.
Down over 10% with about £765 of sells. A few quid more in buys.
Any idea what’s going on twink99? Someone lining up to take it over for peanuts?
Ah well, it was fun while it lasted. Not. Worst investment I’ve ever made. Fat lot of good it made having a Rt Hon Lord as Chairman. God help us if he’s in charge of anything to do with Climate Change. Utter disaster.
If it’s Peel selling then you won’t see a TR1 for another 6 weeks. They’ve done it before here so I’m fully expecting to see similar sells at the end of every day for the next two or three weeks and then it’s time to shut up shop. Sp will be almost zero by then anyway.
Rob Richards. What a class act. Crap, lazy businessman and charlatan to boot.
I was expecting a TR1 on the sale of 4M shares. Not good news, but not as bad as I first feared.
It’s imminent. No idea how anyone sold £6k worth in one go. I’ve not been able to get a price on more than couple of hundred quid for weeks.
I cannot really comprehend how it has not already gone bust.
Not looking good at all.
Why would anyone buy a single share in this rubbish? Either someone who is clueless or just throwing at it as a complete punt. The silence goes on..
You'd hope there are several companies who have worked closely with VDTK over the last 2 or 3 years that know of the technology and quality of the products.
Personally don't think sales have been going well or else even just a handful of photos would have been put on the internet. I suspect Metrotile haven't delivered in terms of sales and may deliberately be playing hard ball to buy up VDTK for themselves. At Just current mcap of less than £1m this would be a bargain so I'd really hope someone somewhere would be willing to pay £2m for it. Would still be extremely cheap given the IP and technology and market potential.
Roger, if there is only one bidder he or she will want to get the company for as little as possible after all this is business. More than one interested party and we could see a good price paid. We could soon be at the point when no news is good news and the financial statement was issued with the sole intention of getting control of the company cheap. Sales figures will prove whether that was the case.
* owned
Not ‘opened’
Actually, just between those two they opened 18% of the shares. Would only have taken one other party with some funding to support them in a take over bid. Or am I just being too hopeful? Not that I think they’d pay much but at least it could be more than the current pitiful mcap.
Hey twink, I can’t see that Gavin Mayhew has been appointed to any other position so how likely might it be that he has hooked up with another organisation in an attempt to buyout VDTk as cheaply as possible? He hasn’t sold any shares…yet, so perhaps the conversations taking place with ‘certain share holders’ were with Gavin and either another company or other significant share holders eg John Celaschi?
Adjournment of Meeting. This was a result of further discussions with certain shareholders with regard to the Company's financing. In this regard the Board continues to hold discussions with certain parties but there can be no certainty as to the outcome of these talks.
I now wonder if Gavin Mayhew got shirty over his investment in the company being massively diluted and that's why the meeting was adjourned and also he left shortly afterwards.
Either we can assume there is a reasonably decent Vat refund coming from Italy and thus giving the company a few more weeks to try and arrange financing or...maybe it's a straight forward buyout? We're all totally in the dark thanks to the absolutely dreadful mismanagement of Rob Richards. This guy is clearly hopeless and I'm just hoping he's pushed out asap and replaced with someone with an iota of know-how in this sector. RR has done zero for the company. Zero.
So, buyout on the cheap, survive just for another few weeks until there is news of sales or administration. Take your pick. I'm hopeful for the first option so I don't lose my entire investment here but fear the last option is all too likely.
As you say twink99 heads or tails?
Well Peel Hunt are happy to hold 15% of the company so I am as unsure about things as I have been for months now. Since there is no news to go on you could simply flip a coin.
What do you think twink? All over?
…it is now!
RNS in the next week confirming it’s liquidation for Verditek
Bad luck everyone. Rob Richards will be fine though.
About 10 trades today. Not one over £10. Says all you need to know about what's going to happen here.
