Many thanks
sorry if posted already http://www.rte.ie/news/news1pm/
She was a good age (15 ) but as you say no pain like it, the floods in glos were my tears...
Sorry to hear about your little dog .... we have lost 2 in the last 5 years .... for me there is no pain like it. Sorry.
No, I always try to give them good quality hypoallergenic foods..... but they don't always like them ha ha I once saw a cartoon of a cat with its eyes closed 'looking' down at its dish in a very sniffy way...and the caption read... 'he could tell a cheap label with his eyes shut' Never a more true word....
Looks like we'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out what was said in the interview. http://www.rte.ie/news/news1pm/
Only just saw your post and listened as quick as possible but I seem to have missed it. Is there any podcasts to listen back to what was said?
Radio 1 talking about usop in a couple of mins
Benst is a TA trader who appears on various bb's (particularly in times of volatility) spouting his crap so he can get more money out of his trading. I don't think I have ever seen him posting anything positive on any share. His agenda is clear and transparent - another one to ignore.
I am sure it doesn't apply to you but "cheap" dry/cat dog foods can have quite a bit. Or used to!
I just looked at USOP on Bloomberg (£1.50 if you must know) but what intrigued me was the 52 week range. 25p -£175 and I thought to myself, I know its cheap but given my circumstances I think I would probably have top sliced 500 of my 1200 at £175! I hope this is a mistake?
Thanks for that... I hadn't heard it before.
i take it we are on low volume
is a major factor in pancreatis with dogs. Iam's does a range of foods that are free of it. Fertilizers contain a lot of potash/potassium, so if a dog is exposed to areas where these are present could be a problem. Worked in a massive pet shop in LA years ago when potash/potassium was discovered to cause problems in pets and restrictions put in place. Apologies if you already know this. ATB
Thanks Roz...
be on the increase these days....and is incredibly painful. I've nursed a dog through pancreatitis (a lovely, lovely Goldie...but as far as I know there was no kidney damage). It came on so suddenly! He was absolutely fine until the evening when he didn't want his dinner (which for a Retriever is unheard of...) Later that night he wanted to go out and just sat in the garden (it was November and cold). I coaxed him in and tried to make him comfortable but he was not himself at all. The next morning I took him to the vet who gave me some anti-biotics but did wonder whether he could be suffering from acute pancreatitis. Anyway, the upshot is that he became even more withdrawn, was vomiting bile and was back at the vets the following morning...where he stayed for a week. The pancreas is difficult to study, even with Xrays but all the tests confirmed the diagnosis and apart from the possibility that he might have had a tumour on the pancreas, it was just a question of taking the conventional route. Fortunately, he survived but many don't. When he came home he was on about six pills a day (I made a chart so that I didn't forget them) but from that day forth he could never enjoy the treats he used to have and had to be put on a Hills special diet (duck and rice). Since then, I've heard of many dogs that have developed pancreatitis and yet it was not all that common years ago (according to the vets). I think it is the commercial food that we give them these days.... The trouble is we're all so busy that preparing their food individually takes so long but I have been doing it for the dog I have with allergies...and it can be fitted into a routine. But there are some other good brands out there too. Rigs recommended a company to me which I will email you about. The food is expensive but nothing compares to a vet's bill!!! Poor little Ginger Nut. She's running in those sweet-scented meadows now...
Karim is really a lizard. And Brian is really his keeper. And the 'Oil' that they've found is really negative energy that's formed a boiling pink blancmange (or whatever) like it did in Ghostbusters. And the reason that they haven't tested all zones is really because it just got too gloomily depressing for the team and then it became a vicious circle - the boiling pink blancmange made them miserable and their misery fed the boiling pink blancmange. Then they came to write the RNS and just felt miserable so wrote it in a miserable frame of mind which, in turn, also fed the drop in share price because everyone was miserable and the trolls thought they'd won so they grabbed great spoonfuls of the blancmange but that depressed them and the blancmange grew and grew. And now we've got loads. But it's all blancmange. Sadly.
Usopers.....this is the board where it's all happening......some of you boys know me from iii.....nice and pleasant lol.....onwards ......
Except one that was addressed to Admin I can't remember any of my posts being removed. I don't have a problem with the company, in my opinion it's just a very risky punt on whether they find any commercial oil or not. My reason for posting on this board was to put a counter argument to some crazy ramping that was going on.
No she seemed fine, but a bit quite, off her food for a few days which was unlike her! Then she was a very sick Saturday night, took her to the vets on Sunday, they put her on a drip & did tests said & she had lost a lot of kidney fusion, and also had Pancreatic problems. So we bought her home on Tuesday for a few hours before the vet came & put her to sleep, It was very peaceful for her... Going to miss her . But shes in a better place now., Running free Thanks for your kind words Roz x
Oh no hun!! I'm so sorry. You were only talking about her last week. Was it a sudden illness or were you expecting it at some time? For what its worth I believe in an afterlife for animals. I have studied everything there is out there regarding evidence for this and have spoken to many, many people on the subject because of the work I do... and have come down firmly on the side that there is something beyond this life and that we will be re-united with our beloved pets one day...the only difference being that when that joyful day dawns, we know that we will never have to say goodbye again. Try to hold on to this thought hun....it might give you some comfort. There are so many people who have seen or experienced inexplicable 'visitations' from their cherished pets that to deny such a possibility would be foolish....and many of these people are highly educated working in the field of science or engineering or veterinary science or law etc etc - the list is endless. They are not 'new-agey'. I wouldn't believe this if I hadn't researched it very thoroughly because to hang on to something simply because it is what I wanted to believe would be delusional and worthless. But the evidence is overwhelming.... (having said that I've never experienced anything myself even though I have often needed to...but my hubs has...and he's an engineer and is not one bit 'airy fairy'. My thoughts are with you. R.I.P. Ginger Nut. She will always be with you.
If you think I have posted anything "unlawful" about the company I would love to know what it was.
I very much appreciate your sensitive posts. The “thin veneer of civilisation” Unfortunately, the anonymity of the internet also accentuates that. Sites really should hold tangible information about individuals. However there is a balance – I’ve spent my life fighting “the Big Brother nightmare of 1984” Take care.
What do you think, less than 42m shares in an oil well about to start testing Two oil bearing columns with a minimum of 150ft of net pay with an easy work around to unblock them, then another 26 zones that may also produce oil adding to the flow and to boot a major or very very large company to complete the work over programme, A good investment or what! Whoof! whoof!
just though u might have better things to do than post here especially after what u were posting on and after the RNS
