I was asked by AJ Bell to move the shares from my ISA to trading account, back in September when the twd was kicked out of AIM.
My question from expert pals here is:
Am I able to sell the shares in order to reclaim the loss on my tax?
Any help and advice is highly appreciated.
Cheers
Looks like what happened at TWD - is happening all over again in AMTE

SL100 please hold your breath whilst you wait.....
With your last comments, unbelievable........more than happy with my posts .....either explode or implode........that was the risk, quite simple really
Trackwise and Stevenage built on empty promises. Looking back I should of left months ago rather than waiting until it closed.
We were told again and again contract is coming. Turns out we just quoted. Madness really. Not sure how Tewkesbury site is open. There's only 2 or 3 in there. Reckon the trackwise side of things gets asset stripped. Stevenage still going I believe but that will be a hard sell with the MD and management team that a running it. Still, they must be keeping the material suppliers happy with all the scrap they made. Millions in debt so will be a tough sell indeed.
The loss of an investment I can take. We all have to learn that in life.
Its listening to the 'know all' mentality of posters when they know SFA!
Just like the rest of us. No monopoly on wisdom or 'pseudo insider knowledge' claimed.
Look back on all your posts and weep.... or maybe apologise!!
Really, not much to comment at present.
Did you lose £1 hence your disappointment?
Interesting that the resident pompous poster K has disappeared. Had to read all the self important all knowing rubbish - acting as if he 'knew' more than the rest of us.
It was mere conjecture, speculation and as Deckchair put it 'bull****.

So what happened then. Or is the farce still going on?
Did Johnson and Cook face it out at Stevenage or did they get the 25 mill they need to get it back in black and a few million to chase the dream again.
£250;was invested long before your boring rubbish started appearing...the company did not fail because they never employed you, which if I recall correctly was a regular part of your postings.
I'm reference to your previous post deckchair.
My posts were correct it would either explode or implode. I also was extremely transparent over that subject numerous times.
If you are stupid or greedy enough not to realise that ! Idiot
Agree Deckchair66.
I has £250 as a speculative punt..so no real problem to me.
To be honest I meant to sell when karlon von bull..sh.ite started spout his rubbish but I thought I would continue with my punt....where is he anyway mr keep calm ?...
Sorry for all that lost a fair bit, as you say rubbish bod....AIM for you.

Anyway the ashes finally finished and then it goes belly up.
That's so trackwise management.
Absolutely Karl. They knew best. They didn't listen to anyone.
If they start again I'm not sure it would be any different.
It is fair to say , I believe through experience this was all highly avoidable.
No, I am not angry over that, for that was before I bought in.
I am angry that a good product, a fabulous product failed due to the inability of those who should of lead by not communicating and engaging its shareholders who in effect were the stakeholders.
Even after they were reach out too , advised not just once but three times. The failure was escalated by their arrogance.
In some ways the stakeholders( major) have some blame by not curbing their salaries or demanding a information governance officer.
Karl, are you not angry these guys bent us over. Look at the money they have had, it's shocking management, shocking decisions. It makes me question now what we were told about Stevenage. We were told they were poor and MD Mr Bukeke was clueless, production would scrap loads, the production management give excuses and it was just a circle of failure. At least they were producing something though. There was very little here. What a massive mess. There's lots of anger towards management as you would expect.

Friend its all speculation.......but I do believe the product with its patents are highly desirable and who ever buys has been monitoring the situation for a while with their claws out x
Karlon, yeah apparently bids are in for Stevenage. What they are who knows and if accepted then due diligence will follow. Will take weeks / months.
Is there enough time before administrator comes in and closes the lot down.
Stevenage are part of the group it's on companies house so it could all go any day.
That's down to the administrators and buyers....
Allegedly there are buyers that have put their bids in
Where will the value come from?
I heard Stevie Wonder had looked at the books and even he said no.

Good post Karlon.
At the beginning I would say farce. These guys are shockingly incompetent on basic things. Simply not ready and not the right tools to play with the big boys. Buying a bigger company in Stevenage proved this.
Scam is a big word. I don't think there was this intention. Decisions further along the long are highly questionable at the very least. They were in trouble and didn't have the tools or staff to cope. The hole just got deeper and deeper.
Their final nail was the MD at Stevenage. This guy is something else. He sweeps good staff out the door faster that Usain Bolt.
Anyway last day of the cricket so triggers broom is ready.
TWD may not have been a scam or farce, but it certainly had its fair share of issues. While the company's Improve harness technology and patents were highly desirable,. The Board of Directors' lack of engagement with shareholders was a major flaw in their operations. The release of negative news alongside positive news only served to muddy the waters and create confusion. This approach, combined with a constant need to jump from one contract to another, was not a prudent move for the company. Perhaps if they had implemented a strategy that involved regular social media releases and timely broadcast announcements for good news, they may have avoided some of the challenges they faced. However, hindsight is always 20/20, and it's hard to say for certain what could have been.
I long ago wrote off my modest holding in TWD and it sits on its own in the “poorly corner” of my portfolio. What surprised me was that people continued to pile in even after it was reduced to the status of a “penny share” which is ironic given its value when trading was suspended. TWD is an object lesson in doing proper research although without inside knowledge of the management even this was no protection against a level of rank incompetence seldom seen unless of course the enterprise was fraudulent from the start.

Come on. Let's be positive here.
There's a £billion pipeline.
I can smell something you're right. Horsesh#t.
Everything about this share stinks
My pants smell better
Karl.
Maybe in Germany they had long sausage.
I think they will say positive things to everyone or the share price would of gone down. This is the pattern.

There is a lack of transparency here
Really????
Surely not off suspension Karlon. Going into administration scuppers this.
I find it amazing that we are here, especially when my friend had received such a sterling communication from a member of the board earlier this month.
As its a friend who has given me the email , I do not feel obliged to my statement that I do not publish communications
I suggest the accounts are audited tomorrow and this share is off suspension ..........your choice fellas

So, I couldn't help but notice that MT wallet has transformed into some kind of stock market analyst. It's sitting there, watching the share market like a hawk, making vindictive statements about other posters' investment choices. But guess what? He's too much of a scaredy-cat to actually invest itself! Talk about hypocrisy in the finance world!
I mean, come on, MT wallet! If you're gonna talk the talk, you better be ready to walk the walk and make some bold investments. Otherwise, zip it and stop judging others while sitting on your empty pockets.
I might need to have a serious talk with mt wallet and give him a crash course in finance 101. Who knows, maybe one day he grow a pair and start making some lucrative moves. Until then, I'll just sit back, laugh, and enjoy his hilarious commentary.
Stay politely bold even in adversity(unlike mt wallet)
MT Wallet that's a pretty vile statement even for your standards. Pathetic
Well it was a one trick pony in the end and timescales from presentation to actual order normally takes 18 months + and an American supplier will jump in to supply the Arrival van bits , Johnston was worried that's what would happen due to them moving production to the USA also he wants to retire and owns all the patents so he is laughing really the new machine will be in an auction in a couple of months quite cheap I would think with it being so specialist maybe one of the directors will shove it into his mates company and it will start all again
my mate became a tier 1 supplier and means nothing really within 6mths the company crashed but he did get a 40k kitchen out of it .
This board of directors should all be banned due to failure but I,m sure the money has been taken already .

I did say violence is key
Let me know where and when
I will bring the weapons
Is the venue a dark carpark??
There will be so many in attendance.
H, the tales that have been spun by our dear board members! It seems they've been treating our company like their personal dairy farm, milking it dry. But when that letter went out about the CFO's sudden departure, they must have thought, "Uh-oh, the gig is up!"
I can almost picture them, their faces pale, frantically changing their underwear, as they hatched a plan to slither into administration and flip the bird at us, the faithful shareholders.
Well, well, well...little do they know, one of us shareholders has seen his fair share of shady characters who like to play games behind closed doors. And oh, how he loves to make those big-shot CEOs squirm, feeling the sweat dripping down their backs and making them contemplate a fresh pair of undies!
So fear not, my fellow investor, because the tables are about to turn. Our secret weapon is gearing up, ready to invite them to a couple of venues that'll make even the big CEO break into a nervous sweat.
Let's watch them squirm and show them that transparency is not just a buzzword, but a guiding principle we expect them to uphold.
With a mischievous grin,

Sorry to hear the news TWD staff it appears your BOD have run the pot dry. My suspicion that Trackwise were not actually producing anything while putting all their efforts into fighting long gone EV customers for settlement was obviously correct. The lack of acknowledgement of new contracts led me to believe that they were running on the settlement they gained in December and probably the final cash flow from Stevenage. Sad times for the staff that haven’t left this sinking ship already. Best of luck. It is my opinion that this Board and the previous one should face investigation. Huge amounts of money spent here and what do they actually have as assets. A large number of very disgruntled Shareholders.

Dear Philip Johnston
I am writing in response to the sale of TWD on the LSE while the current share value is at 0.0020 pence and whilst the share is on suspension.
The excuse that the accounts are not ready to be audited but the company is quick enough to propose a sale is a concern, whilst still on suspension.
As much as I understand the urgency of the situation, I think it would be impractical and difficult to attempt to sell TWD and its assets to generate the required funds to match the debts, as well as replace the money back to the private investors, that placed their trust in you.
I would propose that the company consider other viable fundraising options that could help generate funding without negatively impacting existing shareholders. For instance, securing a loan from a reputable financial institution or a strategic partner could generate the required funds or an open day ( but your attitude towards your investors must change)!
I would also argue that pursuing such an approach would be more beneficial in the long run, as it would allow the company to invest in growth opportunities while preserving shareholder value.
In conclusion, given the current market conditions and investor sentiment, selling TWD and stripping its assets is extremely short sighted and from an outsider point of view the announcement of proposed sale without any engagement from the shareholders causes on overwhelming concern.
I hope to see your chief finance officer dismissed immediately for lack of competency and if he cannot remember when the accounts are due in, maybe he can explain what is role is not to mention the ability of not understanding other methods of fund raising.
Thank you for considering my concerns on this matter; I do urge a rethought on this.
Sincerely,
I am on both , Twitter handle @aimranger1

Just hope current and former management are not allowed to buy TWD for a pound. Management here have been a joke.
Will be sold for £1
You may get 1p back if this scenario happens
Karlon.
I hope you are strapped in. This is going down so fast now.
Abort abort abort abort.
It's almost like we need someone to forget the lies, forget the crazy decisions and come in with a blank cheque book.
The CEO and CFO have to go. It's time for a new start. Nobody will give us a new contract. The new plant is completely untested and we are in a terrible financial position.
I can see the CEO being kept on as a token gesture but not on 250k!!!!!!
Staff are seeing if exception can offer jobs. They are a pcb factory for those that don't know.
All this witty banter is great, but looking at this from an investors point of view , we got a few possible outcomes here 1. Bust game over 2. Taken off market 3. Someone buys us out 4. A placing/loan or cln with small price and big dilution. I believe minimum placing price is 1p, as they had to get shareholders to agree for the minimum to reduce from 4 p to 1p on the last one. Sale what would we get taking debts and other issues like working capital into account maybe we would get 3-5m for everything , the ip has value etc , so buyout at 1p maybe. Who knows it don’t look pretty and 1 p is probably wishful thinking. Anyway sure we all will find out soon enough.

Some here already looking for work after this news.
This is now dead in the water. 100%. No question. Another one bites the dust. Hard luck to all genuine SH’s.
