Hi
Anybody got anything to say about Tri Star?
It seems as this is going to be a long term investment. I think that if the Omani’s were keen on acquiring our 16% that would have made an offer by now. So I think it’s more likely going to be dividends, however based on the very expensive dept that SPMP has and also the fact that Crispin Odey will receive his 2 million loan back first it probably will be over 3 years before the minority shareholders start receiving dividends. And all this depends on if the roasters are able to run consistently at full speed. I personally have so much invested in this that it doesn’t make sense for me to sell for a few pence, however I can understand why a lot of investors are wanting to sell at the moment

Thank you for your input. Things can change quickly, we don't know what could be going on in the background, just hang tight. I have a small holding, so I'm under no pressure to sell. It was a small punt for myself. Hope it works out for you and thank you once again for responding.
I think it's a little early to make this judgement on the possibility of a sale of the 16% though... The roaster was not scheduled to be up to full production until mid-2021, so it could possibly still be just about getting to full capacity. However, the antimony price is strong, over $11k per mt now, so if/when it's belting out the antimony, it will be raking in the profits! Re-financing the debt long-term could also be a possibility. So, maybe next year... we could see interest in acquiring our 16% share if it's making vast profit per month. Have to wait and see.. .but, I am not selling mine for a few pennies either! :) GLA.
Thank you HotShot for your comments. Agree, it is early days yet. Need to get a bit more water under the bridge before anything might start moving.
According to the latest tristar update .30th June 2021 .SPMP will likely come to market and it will have swallowed up Tristar.Either a cash payment for the 16% or we have shares in a listed SPMP.
