There is a very good chat group on Twitter
faz@hacksupreme
Can't see anything on Twitter or Telegram.
I’ll give that a go.
Many thx for your help
Inprotec..a Wakefield based engineering company has completed two furnaces and related infastructure for the antimony roaster .These furnaces eliminate impurities so I suspect it is the solution to the issues the roaster had in achieving the required purity of antimony .The report is from circa 1 month ago so in November.maximum production from the roaster was according to the recent rns,s expected by the end of H1 2021 but I have a feeling we will see full production much sooner.I would expect the Omanis to want the world to know so watch this space.A 16% stake in SPMP will surely realise a good return on tristar shareholders investment.
SirGB.....thanks... will try that .
Cheers.
I don’t know how you can guarantee them. Not sure how this auction thing actually works. It looks like you have to wait until 23rd February
highlites
I assume you are trying TD Canada. TD did have a UK subside called TD Direct Investing which was sold to Interactive Investor. II will sell through Asset Match but not buy.
You may need to request a share certifcate
I am looking to buy up to 250,000 shares at a price of 2p.
Is anyone interested in selling some?
Highlites:
Apologies on the last message The one on Canadian content.....liquidating TSTR shares through Asset Match.
How your call sign keeps turning up, I just dont know...will try to resolve.
So to be clear, former Highlites chat was not from him / her, but some lad in Canada looking for a little help.
Blue skies.
For those of you that were Portage Minerals holders before the TSTR take over...and live out side the UK...eg Canada......Has anyone had success of trying to liquidate your positions . I am trying to do something with TD, but the call centers are a so n so to contact ...long wait times. Now that TSTR is delisted, buying and selling has to be done through Asset Match in London UK. Understood. Problem is that dealing with Asset Match needs the bids to go thorough a broker, and all their brokers are in UK. Asset Match advises that they have NO Canadian companies listed to bid at the auctions. I know that there were many Canadians invested inPortage, and so would now have TSTR shares..has anyone out there got a solution to buy and sell our shares? Please send help.
I will keep trying TD, and focus on their international desk
Thanks.
SPMP new website on line today. I am sure it’s just a coincidence!
Moved on to twitter group but will check in on here once in a while.
Keep the faith all!
Tri-Star’s principal interest is in an antimony and gold production facility is this going a head .
this was 30p down 2p ...
time will tell how much they what your shares and at want price ?
hold and hold ...
you still have a interest in this and that they can not change that untill they buy your shares .
I don't think anyone's too sure how this will play out... Odey are in charge really. They have their new CEO in place... and it depends how they play it. Hopefully, it will work out well for all SH's/PI's, but we await developments. May take some time. When the roaster is fully working.. it may just be a straight buyout... for X-pence per share... hopefully way more than 2!! GLA.
What do you think the forecast will be for Tri-star in the next 1/2 Years? do you think this will still be a good long term investment for people buying in at 2p. I am new to buying into stocks & keen to learn more.
Share12345.... this is my first post on this chat so I hope you don't mind me asking, but what do you think the forecast will be for Tri-star in the next 6/12 months? do you think this will still be a good long term investment for people buying in at 2p.
Great updates and info tradehobbs, many thanks. Very interesting they have opened an auction straight away.
I'm with Halifax - iweb, and the shares are just sitting in my share dealing account... no option to sell of course, and the TIDM has gone... but, they are there - and there they shall remain, as iweb is not linked to asset match. I hold stock in a private company. Will be holding for a while... see what happens. GLA.
Odey will only buy our shares straight away if he is looking to sell his holding to a buyer at a sizeable profit. (We win straight away.)
If Odey is looking to maintain the SPMP plant as a profitable asset, which he owns 56.99% of TSTR and has full control there is no rush for him to own the remaining shares (although new private investors are likely to want to come on board increasing the risk of a rise of share price) as he can take over all shares at any time at a fair price (hopefully).
Odey may well buy all shares from investors that want a quick sell straight away that are willing to sell for sub 5p, collecting as many cheap shares before he pays a premium for the remaining holders shares.
There’s also a chance Odey will remain just owning a 56-99% of TSTR without owning the whole company which all remaining holders would benefit significantly from dividends payments and massive buy out offers for third parties in the future.
I think the key here is to hold and try to forget for 6-24 months.
Hi Simon.
Thank you for the reply, the shares are in a share dealing account, the lad I spoke too seemed a bit baffled as to what was happening, he had to go and seek advice then hit me with the complete loss comment, which after reading some posts on here instantly thought well he's wrong. I've since spoke with someone from asset match and been sent the link to register with them and also checked out HL... All a bit much when I've just got up off nights I must admit. Lol
Hello Laughing,
I hold some of these in a Halifax ISA and have had multiple conversations with Halifax, AJBELL, Asset Match and HL.
What exactly did Halifax tell you and what type of account do you hold in?
I have been informed that the shares will be transferred automatically into my share dealing account, where they will be held. Seeing as Halifax are not setup on the Asset Match platform, the way I see it, the options are:
A) Transfer to another provider who accept incoming unquoted stock and are setup on Asset Match
B) Transfer to share cert (allowing you to sell on Asset Match yourself)
C) Leave the unquoted stock in your Halifax SD account and hope for a company buy out
Just phoned Halifax share dealing to ask about tri star and was told it looks like my shares are a complete loss ?? surely this can't be right, apologies if there's been a post covering this.
Thank you for the information. I have been with TSTR since Canisp, the very beginning of the company, but I hardly ever post anything.
I also have shares with two other delisted companies so that information is greatly received.
I haven’t joined yet, will have request to join.
What ever the bids are within the next 3 months I’m sure I will be declining, unless we have the take over big I am obliged to accept.
The way I understand, I can tell H&L to sell my shares at x amount that I decide, if they find a buyer at my x amount through Assetmatch it will be accepted and the trade is completed.
If the buyer for x amount is not found I will retain my shares and continue to wait/receive dividends/take over bid.
Assetmatch will also keep us updated of the offers/bids received to give us an indication of what our shares are currently worth.
All seems perfectly fine to me, Asset match seem brilliant also at replying to emails/answering phone.
Thx for this Trade Hobbs.
It will be interesting to see what Odey’s opening bid will be.
