Not the expected RNS, but there is still time to release another to fulfil the promise of a dividend RNS before year end .
The holding RNS perhaps clears the way for what they want to say, could be a large pay out, but after the disappointment (though profitably experience) I had with Russian shenanigans with HGM (my view is Russian elite grabbing assets), I'm wary when shares change hands with large shareholders.
If any of the concert party bought recently that put a base under any potential offer of well over £1, though if they made s move I would expect £2 + We are kidding ourselves if we pretend this does not look like a very juicy morsel for some of the cash rich entities out there.
I always assumed paying the cash out in dividends and thus encouraging a high SP was a good sign the management wanted to remain AIM listed.
The last day of December and no announcement. Why not?
I'm nervous and having flashbacks to when they restated the reserves and the share price crashed.
Noels - I'm sure you are not the only one, and I was surprised that they suggested an update before the year end in the first place.
But they've missed dates before and then announced great news so we can't read anything into it. My previous post explains my viewpoint, and IMO this is going to remain strong into mid 2021 and if a big dividend is paid we can assume no blocking shareholder bid.
There is still time today to make an announcement and a reasonable explanation that they wanted to tally the year end production.
Fair enough JTD.
It's just that, due to feeling a bit let down, I like to have a bit of a moan. A couple of years ago, I topped up in the expectation of a special dividend, and not only was there no special dividend, but the share price crashed just after I added more. It has, as we know, since recovered.
Perhaps I was presumptuous in expecting that special dividend, but this year they said that there will be an announcement on the dividend policy - "upgraded". On the strength of that, again, I added more, so if it fails to appear I will be very disappointed and actually feel cheated. Maybe I'm just unlucky.
Overall, I am up considerably on TSG, and I have had a reasonable amount in dividends, so perhaps I shouldn't really moan, so I'll stay quiet as it may come later today.
Have we been bluffed? It looks like it to me.
I have an opinion of people who say they will do things then don't.
Noels ... you sold right? Jumped ship and dumped ... it sounded like we lost you and not all are sad. I just wonder at £1.30 ... why are you still moaning ... jump why you can it’s going to crash to £1.50 and then you’ll still be complaining. Updates due from December will be in the next few days and end of year dividend will be disclosed once they crush the figures.
you sound like a right smug ar5eh0le artrader. We've been let down. They didn't stick to their word. In the past, companies I have been in that did that turned out to be very dodgy.
There have been sold big sales over recent days - they must not share your bullish view. I haven't sold, but I'm nervous and ready to dump.
Correction - There have been some big sales
Noel happy new year and may all acquaintance be forgot; I probably am a smug arse and a smartarse so I can’t really take offence. Please read the following statement from the penultimate RNS
TSG intends to provide a production update for Q4 2020 and guidance for 2021 in January 2021.
Respect to you artrader. I am a blunt speaker and sometimes cross the line into rudeness, so I apologise.
The sentence that follows the one one you quoted is "Updated guidance on dividends for the full year 2020 is expected to be announced by the end of December. " So I expected it in December, however I ought to have kept my impatience in check as I note that it says their announcement was only"expected" and not definite.
