Looks like U Blox decision going down to the wire today...
With 18.62% Dbay will be pivotable in any deal that's out there.
Whatever happens, deal or no deal, they will be looking for the maximum return on their stake.
yes 5pm on the 18th, although it can be extended with the consent of takeover panel on telit's request.
I've no idea what shenanigans dbay are up to by constantly upping their position to nearly 20% now, but U Blox have until close of business on Monday to seal a deal I believe the 18th Jan is the deadline?
18.62 per cent
now have 18 per cent
Looks like Dbay up to more tricks?

Not sure but they did last we so I believe..
Was that DBAY increasing their stake on the rule 8.3 announcement yesterday?
maybe we should put in a bid for u blox!!
One would imagine Price is the sticking point.
However, the door appears to be open for further discussion, so a potential deal is still alive. It may even drag further suitors out from the sidelines.
This is definitely not dead in the water. Of course, we are not privy to what is blocking progress. Perhaps, both parties should jointly involve an independent third party to help arbitrate and steer the discussions towards a resolution. There is a deal to be done here.
Agreed.
I think the longer-term prospects for the company will be far more profitable for shareholders than some opportunistic bid at a small premium to the current SP.
Lets not forget this was at 360p before OOZI rocked the boat and all that baggage has been sorted out by the new board and IOT is getting bigger all the time especially with Covid 19 forcing companies to use more and more remote technology solutions. I think the BOD of Telit are well aware of this and are playing hard ball with potential suiters and rightly so. Telit could be much bigger than it is in the very near future and once the lockdowns start coming off I think Telit will be a very strong growth story again... AIMHO ADYOR!!!!!
dbay paid 194 and offered that cash. anything below it i am buying TOP up timeeeeeee its screaming.
A 250p all-share deal is fine by me. I do not know want the disagreement was about between the parties but I'm sure there is still a deal to be done. U-blox was adamant the merger made sense and I can't see anything that has changed.
I agree our prospects appear excellent and the balance sheet is in rude health. That said we were around 130 before news of the approaches and it's in our interest to tie up a deal. A merger with u-blox would give up continuing exposure to the potential upside. Similarly, anyone wishing to could buy Lantronix stock on the open market following a 220p cash deal. I would be happy with both.
I still think a deal is odds-on and the market seem to be coming to this view following the early sell-off.
Best
Happy
nt trade again this shows aim too what it his ,its corrupt and should be investigated
just got a quote now after 45mins
So if no one can buy, why down 25p? Very strange.
cant get a quote on hl as well
still cant get a quote too buy on jarvis ,something going on ,what a disgrace theses mms are
still no trade on jarvis now 15 mins something puzzling
nt on jarvis last ten mins mms not in control suspect
I am surprised by the extent of the sell-off because I don't even think u-blox's interest is necessarily over. Writing to u-blox to terminate talks is a good way to say: "put up or shut up". u-blox can still make a formal offer and is yet to indicate that it will not. This is an interesting situation and I feel the board is trying to tease out a firm and acceptable offer.
regulatory information: for the purposes of the Code the Company remains in an offer period and, notwithstanding this announcement, in accordance with Rule 2.6(a) of the Code, u-blox must, by no later than 5.00 p.m. on 18 January 2021, either announce a firm intention to make an offer in accordance with Rule 2.7 of the Code or announce that it does not intend to make an offer for the Company, in which case the announcement will be treated as a statement to which Rule 2.8 of the Code applies.
