Lol!
Loc i hope you were talking about shares with that last comment looooool!!
Yeah I missed boo this morning Jambon, might do half and half for both but that would be against my norm usually all in one.
I had a punt on boo last week loc.... Still got a lump in talk as well.... Looks really steady in talk touch wood
Not yet Joe, will give it a week and see what happens.
loc, did you buy back in? TT seems to be more on a slow steady climb now, if you look at the chart from. 19th July.
Its giving us a little... Bit by bit
Thanks chancers, I think I will try and buy back into talk talk this week, sold out on Friday but regret it. I don’t think I can tell what is happening with boo at the minute so probably stick with talk.
Hi Loc123
I sold out to buy boo before the results, not sure if just eat will give a decent profit and not sure if the football would have created extra business since the heatwave and people buying things in, but that's me thinking, don't forget the fall in price regards the 50million that they were reinvestment
Chancers are you still invested in just eat, surely they must be in for good results on Tuesday with the World Cup? I have never had luck with them always sold at the wrong time just before a good rise, thinking Monday could be a good time to invest?
As you say Chancers, could be a quick short term 30% maybe more. Artemis Investment Management seem confident by increasing their holding twice in 2 days as per the rns. Eyes on EBQ Monday.
Cheers Chancers
Still could be a 30% profit short term
Shares in marketing & media consultancy Ebiquity PLC plunged Tuesday as it said profits for the full year will not meet market expectations.
Shares in Ebiquity were down 21% Tuesday at 44.50 pence each.
The company does not expect the proposed sale of its Intel segment - which represents about 22% of the Ebiquity - to Nielsen Holdings PLC to be completed by the UK Competition & Markets Authority until December.
Ebiquity expects this uncertainty to continue to impact revenues and profits in the second half of the year.
In the six months ended June, the company's Media and Analytics & Tech segments - which represent about 78% of the company - grew 7% on a like-for-like basis over the last year.
Ebiquity said, however, the performance from these segments did not offset the poor performance of the Intel segment, leading to total like-for-like sales dropping 9% from the previous year.
Chancers, I've just been looking at the chart for EBQ and if you look how it reacted on Friday for very few shares being traded, it won't take much to get that moving IMO. See what happens Monday
Chancers, Yes 60 is realistic I think, maybe when the RNS's have been digested. I noticed Dan3187 is in or has been in EBQ, he is also in Koov
Joe, Had a look at EBQ, looks a risk and it may get to 60p, See what happens on Monday, but to much of a risk for me
Joe if talk follows its recent couole of rises we will get some consolidating followed by good rises... Im sitting tight for the minute but may trade in and out if i see an opportunity.... If we get a good rise then 130s is possible in a very quick timescale... Talk can rise 5 or 10pc in a day for fun when it wants to
Jambon, as well as my previous post, check out EBQ, they dropped 2 interesting RNS's on Friday, I thought it maybe worth a punt, your opinion is always appreciated.
What's your take on TT Jambon, are you in for the ride and if so, do you have a target in mind?
Seems to be in a trading range currently
TALK is definitely a good bet right now. its clear that the bottom has been reached and it plateaued for a while but I'm confident that it will keep rising so long as the RNS's follow suit.
There are some good sp’s today for Talk but Barclays is manipulating the price so much it isn’t worth while to sell, it is so annoying when Barclays platform does this with certain shares!
Yes Vodafone is now on a 6 year low! If I was a betting man I'd say it is near the bottom. I think talktalk is a good bet right now as it appears to be less affected by ftse fluctuations and we're heading for a very turbulent period.
This months biggest opportunity was to buy at 97p and sell at around 122p.... That is a hell of a trade... I got a good chunk of it as well
